I actually drew Ezra looking presentable first, (like how he’s normally described,) before remembering that he was supposed to be more disheveled in this scene. It was fun to go back and mess it up! XD

Squall tried to conquer Nevermoor a little ove a hundred years ago, aka 8 or nine ages ago.
That's also when the Wintersea Republic was created. Maud Lowry tried to conquer Nevermoor at the ending of Hollowpox.
Squall said she would conquer Nevermoor like she conquered the places in the Wintersea Republic. "I know because I helped them do it."

I re read Nevermoor and in it Jupiter says the Gossamer Line was created by the league 13 to 14 ages ago. So I assumed my theory about squall being 120-something years old was wrong. Since he said he created it.
But then i remembered how in Hollowpox Morrigan goes into ghostly hours she knew Squall was in nevermoor. The age of endings and the age of east winds. He was exiled from nevermoor 8 or 9 ages ago. He MUST HAVE BEEN 20-something. He wasn't even born 13 to 14 ages ago. Either he or Jupiter lied. But why would Jupiter lie? Sure, the thing about the league creating it could've been a lie. But why lie about it being 13-14 ages ago?
And it's unlikely Squall lied since he said it in such a small comment. "The Gossamer Line is a great thing- I should know, i created it-"
what the fuck does this mean.
Edit: One of the books DEFINITELY says Squall was exiled 8-9 ages ago.
Squall was in nevermoor for 2 ages. As morrigan says in Hollowpox.
Dude was born 10-11 ages ago.
Doesn't matter if ages aren't 12 years long on average. My logic still applies. Squall could not have been born 13-14 ages ago.
with the ghostly hours listings in hollowpox we can probably semi accurately determine the dates and times in the nevermoor universe.
In the extracurricular activity chapter Morrigan enters the ghostly hour Age of Endings, Ninth Thursday, Spring of Nine. The day after that is Ninth Friday, Spring of Twelve.
The monday after that is Tenth Monday, Spring of Eight.
My first thought was that Spring of Eight and Summer of One and stuff like that was the year, but since Winter of One happens more than once (3 times that we know about) It must be a month-like thing. Its not the day, since thats the Ninth Friday and Third Monday stuff, and it doesn't Christmas doesn't occur at the same time ( 2 weeks before Christmas in hollowpox and Christmas Eve in Nevermoor)
Spring of Eight is later than Spring of Twelve and Winter of One is at the end of the month, but the next ghostly hour occurs Age of Endings, Tenth Wednesday, Spring of Nine.
So overall, we should have a somewhat solid sense of time here.
Possibly you all already knew this, but I didn't.
