I Am Really Looking Forward To Seeing If I Can Get That School Project To A Presentable Enough Level To Show Here - Tumblr Posts
27, 58, and 65 for the fic asks!!
58. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc)
Editing my beloved it's my faaavorite I feel it's the part where you can really take a step back to look at what you put on the page and make sure everything is coming along in a way that's effective, where you can breathe and make sure the pieces are fitting properly into place and meaning didn't get lost along the way. What's comforting about fiction to me is things don't happen out of random chance, there's a rhyme and reason even to a tragedy, so I enjoy the part of the process of doing your best to make sure A leads well into B I feel like I'm stitching them together into a picture, one that will look a bit different from what I see in my head if someone else looks at it too
27. What is your most and least favorite part of writing?
Okay so favoritest is editing, now the least favorite? I've said posting is a chore for what I imagine is an annoying amount of times by now... Know the very last point I just made geeking out about editing? I still can't quite manage to not be intimidated by that. I suppose that's not part of the writing process itself but well I don't think I have much of an issue with anything else, I do wish I was better at outlining but what I do works well for my skill level and projects small in scope
65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project
Hmmm I could not tell you? As in I also don't know an answer, I've yet to have an idea long-term enough to consider it an actual project and as I said bad at outlining so I mainly kind of write as soon as I get the idea? "Ooh I'm so looking forward to writing that scene" isn't really a thought that occurs to me it's either got a first draft written down or I didn't have the idea yet, and honestly I am the most excited about a school project atm which is bad for me cause as much as it's a fun creative muscle to stretch I find myself too lazy to go to the gym :']
