i so desperately need to see a romcom starring Alexa Demie and Rory Culkin, where they meet at a party, both bored and don't know anyone. Rory starts the conversation awkwardly (as he always is), Alexa thinks he's sweet, they hit it off, exchange numbers and schedule a date. They both go home for the night and it turns out Alexa has a teenage daughter (played by Jenna Ortega), they have a fairly good relationship with each other. So a few weeks pass and Rory and Alexa are a thing, Alexa told Jenna about him but never introduced the two to each other. Another thing about Alexa is Jenna's dad's (played by Tyler Posey) parents LOVE Jenna and Alexa, a little more than their own son maybe. So they visit them for Thanksgiving or a wedding or some family get-together situation. They get to the house and Alexa knocks on the door and guess who answers the door? Rory! They have this little "omg what are you doing here?" Dots connecting moment and it turns out Rory is actually Tyler's brother 🙀. Jenna knows he's her uncle and her and Alexa's CONVO is like "why didn't you tell me" "he has a very common name you should have been more specific". Meet-the-parents esque shenanigans induce and at the end Alexa and Rory has a "i love you and that's all that matters" ending, very cute kiss scene, Tyler's wondering what the hell's going on, his parents are gushing and Jenna is not looking forward to the next family gathering.

TLDR: bringing back mid-budget 90s-00s romcoms with Alexa Demie and Rory Culkin
