personally, i HATE A.M. with a burning passion, but a fanfic writer named yandere--stuck wrote him reallyyyy good as a yandere, and i can't help but agree that that's how he'll act towards the reader. i still hate him and will still personally stay away from him because he sucks, but that doesn't mean i'll attack anyone who likes him. i just don't like that he'll beat up the reader before he eventually realizes he has feelings for them.
speaking of alternate gabriel, it's also a hit or miss with fanfics i read of him. i like oneonedatrain's portrayal of him the most, as well as the ones that are vanilla, but i stay away from fics that trespasses "dead dove: do not eat" on him.
except dorian-is-dead. i hate painplay, but hey, at least their gabriel treats the reader well after that---
anyways, i decided to accept the fact that gabriel will have "problematic fics" and expect it, you wanna know why? because it can happen, and i decided to do myself a favor and stay away from tags that'll trigger me, and i found all is good (◕ᴗ◕✿)
