like what if Kirby fought sun wukong, I feel like that be a pretty solid fight, like it would last pretty long but I still am pretty sure Kirby would win but like at the end I feel like they’d become friends because this weird puffball is one hell of a fighter. Like the two would kinda have some sort of mutual respect and probably go have snacks together. Kinda like with how meta knight becomes buddies with Kirby.
this then lead to the Greek deities since I’ve been listening to epic the musical.
I think Zeus would go down so fast. Like a total pushover. He would go down faster than he can find a new mortal to cheat on his wife with, he talks big game but I feel like all that time being the most ‘powerful’ would get to his head, plus he’s gonna be hurling lightning which will just get consumed. Imagine trying to take out your divine wrath on this orb and it swallows it then electrocutes you. Then Hera has a new friend because finally someone who can go after Zeus when he cheats. He’s a glorified lighting cloud and Kirby has killed soooo many of those. Even a Kirby going in without a copy ability dunks on him.
congrats you got to the part about what if Kirby joins the odyssey. (I’m running on limited knowledge,tried and a dream so some mistakes inbound)

Circe would be difficult but honestly I can see Kirby getting through her and just having a snack party with the nymphs.
sirens? Well two words. Mic Kirby. Even if he goes underwater he’s totally fine. Easy mini boss.
Poseidon is a harder fight than Zeus. Mostly because most copy abilities don’t exactly work the best underwater. Once he leaves the water tho? Ooohoho dead meat.
for the same reason of water Scylla is difficult. But like she’s actually the hardest fight if only for the sheer amount of heads and her size. Let him eat the torches, he’ll be fine.
the absolute hardest part is getting Kirby away from calypso
Aphrodite can’t do a single thing other than maybe pick him up, just hold up a fruit Odysseus he’ll come running.

perfect warrior for Athena right there, just get him some treats and he’ll do anything

I had such a difficult time deciding what his name was, the joke came up that “why not just give them all the names” so now

He usually will just go by Cinnabar or Carmine, but has been trained to respond to each name given. She will accept any pronouns and more often than not just switch them around whenever they feel like it. The Ironhearth family is rather famous for one reason or another and is often seen as a terrifying force. Stoic hotheaded bulls with control over what people could only assume was hellfire.
The job of a hero maker is an important but thankless job. People are often ungrateful for the families wealth wondering why they were even necessary.
But the world is always in danger. There’s always some monster or threat trying to make it their own. Cinnabar has been alive for at least 2 of such attempts. And it’s well known that those who want to fight against these evils must get the hero’s mark.
Of course good natured people too far away can fight on their own but it’s well known that to be recognized one must go to the Crimson Citadel and be evaluated. Once they pass they will receive a signature soul infused weapon. Many people came to the Citadel doors seeking fame and wealth through the title of hero. It was the job of the hero makers to stamp that out.
To crush the dreams of fame fortune and power. To suffocate pride, and sort out those filled with greed. Many times people have come for these things and left furious when they were denied the status of hero. Cruelty became second nature to the Bulls of Ironhearth, to stomp out hope of wannabe heroes. Their brutality was seen as nothing short of barbaric. But in actuality was an act of kindness
One might think this idea absurd. Barbaric tests that could very well risk the sanity of whoever is subjected, in most cases it would be. But good things don’t happen to heroes. The world unites in danger, but when peace comes people are far too comfortable being unjust and crueler than any monster. The path to being a hero is not easy, physically it’s exhausting and incredibly taxing on the body. But more importantly the mental toll is greater than one can ever imagine. People are hardly kind to those they don’t recognize and they likely won’t recognize the hero once they return. The Ironhearth family is in charge of ensuring the potential heroes know this. Their job is to teach them absolute fear, to drag their mental states through the mud, and suffocate them with the darkest pits of despair. If they can push through then they know these people are worthy, if their will and desire to save others is strong enough to handle this, the family can rest easy knowing they can handle the mental cost of being a “hero” and they get to work preparing them for what lies ahead.
all in all.. they remain record keepers of past heroes forgot by the world. Heroes that return have a place in their Citadel. The family of bulls will forever be excluded from being hero's. But that doesn’t mean they cannot help ensure the best outcome for them.

What have you the inspiration to create tapu?
so the original reason I made Tapu was because I wanted to have a character with a simple design something interesting and easy to draw because I got fancy new markers.
eventully I wanted to give her more of a story, I started using tumblr more and wanted to kinda have a branch there. So she kinda became my persona here, for some small messages I have her deliver them for me. Which is why I have a couple of small comics with her
so I’m gonna write some more details (I should have done this a lot sooner) since the polls weren’t long enough for all the detail.
Reborn deity has 3 other options: deity of chaos that splits into option 3 as well, a deity that died as a sacrifice to save a dying world brought back with limited memories with a mental block. An Eldritch horror executed by the people who did not fully comprehend the consequences of their actions, this reset the entire universe but the damage is done her true form is dead and she was reborn as a significantly less powerful individual. But in times of extreme stress fear or desire to protect others the cosmic energy will release, mangling and mutating her plush body and warping it with sheer power.
reformed villian: not gonna win anyway but the details are that she was a world ending threat. A villian who was misguided trying to ‘fix’ the world. After her execution she realized her mistakes. Her soul was imbedded into a weapon of a hero to redeem her soul cleansing it of its darkness. All memories are gone as she lives a new life with some powers she’s unaware of. Only the Bull family remembers her past.
full Kirby treatment, she was a being of chaos, pure energy violent and destructive that was greeted with love and affection. With the slow but gentle persistent love and care she slowly learned love. Something happened and the shell of the void/chaos beast cracked and fell apart. When she came too once more, she wasn’t the same she was small, and her hands weren’t hard, she didn’t have horns her body was soft and gentle. A doll, a plushie. Something made to love and be loved, something designed to exist to bring comfort and love to those in sorrow and dismay.

My Whump Introduction Post!
Hey Whump Community, I thought I would finally introduce myself! My name is Zoe and I have been a fan of whump for as long as I can remember. Even before I knew what the word whump was, I was obsessed. I used to read so many BBC Merlin Hurt and Comfort fanfics as a kid (and I still do now!). I have had this blog for a while, but I have finally decided to be more active with it. I mainly reblog gifs, but I want to start doing more writing and drawing, so that will hopefully be on here soon.
So about me! I am Zoe (she/her), I am in my early 20s and I live in the UK. My main fandoms right now are Star Wars, The Witcher, MacGyver and Prodigal Son, but I will reblog any good whump I see. My favourite tropes involve danger and fear, so I love to see someone held at gunpoint or swordpoint. As much as I love my whump, I also love some sweet sweet comfort afterwards.
From what I have seen, the whole Whump Community looks lovely, and I am hopefully going to be more of a part of it. This one's from The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982). It's a sword with THREE blades. Two of them shoot out of the hilt as projectiles- I love it. I would never use it.
I set out posting my art online initially to design "practical fantasy weapons", and while I haven't abandoned the "practical" part myself, going nuts on weapon designs is still just really fun to do.
Saradomin Godsword from OldSchool Runescape and the newfangled RS3 version.
Doesn't have to be "practical". Depending on the context, the looks can be more important than the functionality.
Sanderson depicts shardblades in The Stormlight Archive as being ultralight to justify their size. Fun middleground, but not always necessary.

Actual martial artists can already hurt themselves using tried-and-tested weapons from history (i.e. there is someone to learn how they use them from), let alone the average untrained gamer with something out of fantasy.
Doesn't stop people from trying. Baltimore Knife and Sword are among the many blacksmiths who routinely produce real world versions of fictional weaponry (look up Man at Arms: Reforged on YouTube) and recently Digitally Twisted Outlaws (also on YouTube) started training with one such giant replica Dragonslayer, and dubbed their weapon-style the "Colossus Sword Form".
Bottom line, just have fun with it. Don't get too bogged down by what's consistent with real world usage, especially when the context is fictional.
