reply to the question " ava, do you have a fave owl fact?": a greyscale line drawing of Ava, a humanoid creature with long deer-like ears and shoulder length hair and star shape on her forehead. she’s wearing a stripy jumper and stimming by slightly flapping her hands. She’s saying: “oh. hm.. do you know ural owls say huw-huhuwo-huwo? they are usually quiet, not speaking so much. but they can make different sounds.” and “and usually they eat shrews and voles and lots of small creatures. even hares and collared doves too.” and “they are big owls. and they can be 24 years old”.
replying to "Ùna have you ever gone/would you ever go fishing?" - a greyscale drawing of Ùna, who has medium brown skin, a birthmark on her face and short dark hair. she’s smiling, looking to the left and wearing a wool jumper. there’s a screen-tone image of an arctic charr, labelled røye, besides the speech bubbles that read: “i had a few times before meeting ava, but i was mostly too busy with art college and didn’t have any gear for it either anyway so… not much. but here it’s easier, with the little rowboat to go out on. or we stand in the rivers and wait for the fish and end up just watching.. last time we went out on the boat we managed to catch two røye*. it took the whole day, though.”
replying to the question "Ava, do you have a favorite book about owls and birds?" - a drawing of Ava, her hair in a ponytail and a star mark in her forehead fur. she’s lying in bed and looking at a book. she’s replying to the ask: “i dont know.. there’s lots of good ones, from ornithologist. so many books. this one of native birds of here is pretty good though. lots of birds but owls there. ural.. snowy.. it’s old, but it means nice soft page-edges and also so much illustrations with inks and pencil”.

reply to an ask reading "can Ùna talk about fish to me?" - a drawing of Ùna kneeling on the floor rolling ink on a plate for printmaking, surrounded by materials for it. she’s wearing jeans and no shirt. she’s smiling and replying to the ask: “ah, i’m not an expert at all. i just read about it sometimes.. it’s kinda fascinating y'know? all those ancient fish, barely even changed. i’m working on prints.. of, uh, coelacanths and stuff like that. a mosasaurus too. big, big guys… they’re so fucking cool”
