It had been lifetimes, the blink of an eye.  Time a construct set in the unimaginable.  Every moment a curse as much as a blessing.  Enkidu was no stranger to the unfair passage of soon to be memories  (  tucked safely away, rapids a violent pull  ).  Yet  ---  against all odds  ---  here they were again.  A golden imagine shining before them all to welcome  (  wandering the darkness for too long, drawn to the light  ).  Thoughts suddenly clear as bright eyes find their king.  ❝  I believe a polite greeting is “hello.”  ❞
