- you were all dolled up by your maids in your room for a fancy dinner your parents had planned with the royal family from a kingdom far away from yours.

- you smiled at your reflection as one of your maids finished your face off with your favorite shade of pink lipstick, as another one tied your hair into a braid from behind.

- “good evening, is princess y/n ready-“ a voice spoke out when the door opened, you turned your head to the door with the biggest smile on your face, seeing that it was your only favorite butler.

- “heeseung-ah!~” you giggled, he grinned at you as he closed the door behind him. “why hello princess, you look absolutely stunning.”

- you ran towards your butler, leaving the maids behind and hugging his waist, tugging down on his suit with your little hands. “you really think that? i feel really pretty looking like this and hearing it from you makes me feel a hundred times prettier.”

- heeseung smiled down at you, patting your head and making sure he didn’t mess up your hair, “of course you do, princess.”

- he kneeled down on one knee to your level as you pulled back from him, now looking at his face with the brightest expression plastered on your face.

- “even if you weren’t all dressed up like this, i still think you are the most beautiful princess among all kingdoms, princess y/n.” heeseung smiled at you, you bowed your head down, growing shy at his statement.

- heeseung stood up again, bowing at the maids who bowed back at him. he holds out his hand in front of you, with you taking it with your small one.

- “well, we wouldn’t want your parents and the guests to keep on waiting, yeah?”

PARK JONGSEONG as your butler!

- you gasped loudly at the sound of glass coming in contact with the ground, covering your mouth with your hand as you took a few steps away from the disaster.

- little clumsy you was trying to get some chocolates from the kitchen counter and due to your small figure, it was harder than you thought that you ended up knocking down one of the wine glasses the chef prepared for your parents.

- loud footsteps could be heard coming from outside and just in time when you turned your head to the entrance of the kitchen, you see your butler with a thin layer of sweat on his forehead, a mortified expression lingered on his face.

- “i-i didn’t mean to...” you reasoned, feeling the tears forming on the corners of your eyes. “i was just going to g-get some chocolates but i-“ before you could finish your sentence, you were already crying your eyes out.

- jay panicked as he quickly ran over to you, grabbing some tissues from the counter and wiping your tears away, shushing you quietly, kneeled down in front of you.

- “shhhh it’s okay, princess. don’t cry please, it’ll make me sad. you don’t want to see your butler sad now, do you?” he cooed, placing strands of your hair behind your ear so he could properly wipe your tears dry.

- small hiccups erupted from your throat, jay grabbed and filled a glass with water, guiding you carefully as you gulped everything down.

- jay sat you down on one of the fancy chairs in front of the counter as he called down a maid to clean up the mess.

- once you finally calmed down, jay grabbed your favorite piece of chocolate from the counter, opening it carefully and handed it to you, a small smile on his face.

- “here you go princess, it’s alright now, okay?”

- you look up at him, smiling at his gesture as you took the chocolate from him, biting a piece and handing it to him, asking him to take a bite as well.

- jay looked at you in surprise, he didn’t want to see you sad again so he gladly took a bite out of the chocolate, the two of you holding your laughs at the expressions you made as you munched on the chocolates.

SHIM JAEYUN as your butler!

- you waved goodbye at your parents, the king and queen, who were off to visit another kingdom due to royal duties. you asked if you could go with them but they declined, telling you that this was only for adults and that it’d be best if you just stayed at the castle.

- jake, your butler, noticed the sad expression that took your features when your parents were out of sight.

- you wiped the tears threatening to spill from your eyes, you were used to your parents always going off somewhere for work but for some reasons, today hurt more than before.

- you felt a tap on your shoulder , turning around to see who it was as you wiped your face with the back of your hand.

- your butler smiled down at you, holding out a hand for you take, “would you like some of your favorite dishes served to you, princess?”

- and that was indeed what happened, you were now seated in front of the dining table. not alone like you usually were. this time, jake was seated right beside you, the both of you laughing your butts off.

- jake took a spoonful of your favorite soup, gesturing for you to sip on it and you did. once you were done, a thick layer of soup laid perfectly on top of your lips.

- he laughed loudly at you, letting you see your reflection behind the spoon. you laugh alongside him, licking the excess soup off of your face.

- you grabbed the can of whipped cream from the table, supposedly for your pancakes but immatureness took over you as you squeezed a huge lump on your hand, slapping it playfully on your butler’s face.

- you giggled at his disbelief expression, he smirked at you as he grabbed the can from you, taking an even bigger lump of whipped cream and smudging it all over your face and on your hair.

- you squealed at how cold the substance was, laughing at the state that the two of you were in. the maids held back their smiles from the sight in front of them, this was something that didn’t happen everyday.

PARK SUNGHOON as your butler!

- “please sunghoon-ah?~ play with me just this once! i promise i will keep my mouth shut.” you whined, tugging at your butler’s hand.

- sunghoon sighed, taking a look at the maids that laid out the game of twister that you badly wanted to play with him. it’s not that he didn’t want to play with you, he felt embarrassed at the thought that your parents would find out about this and that would mentally scar him for life.

- the maids bowed and left as soon as they finished, leaving the playroom for you and the butler.

- you jumped up and down, waving your little arms all over the place, whining a, “sunghoonie~ PLAY WITH ME!!”, continuing to do that until he finally gave up and agreed to play with you, making you squeal in delight.

- you giggled as sunghoon sat down next to you on the ground. you had the first turn so you spinned the clock or whatever the hell that thing is called, patiently waiting for the arrow to land on something.

- “right foot... yellow!” you exclaimed, standing up and walking over to one of the yellow circles on the mat placed neatly on the floor, stepping on one with your right foot. you turned over to the butler who tried not to smile at your cuteness, “your turn!”

- the game went on for another 15 minutes or so, leaving the two of you in a messy position. you were laughing so hard, looking up at your butler who was right above you. “you look so scary this close to me, sunghoonie!”

- sunghoon laughed, “well, it would be even more terrifying if i accidentally drop on you, princess. go on now, it’s your turn.”

- you nodded, still giggling as you turned your head, reaching over to the piece of cardboard that would determine your next move.

- it was way out of your reach, the position you were in was madly uncomfortable, you whined as you tried to reach for it as much as you can but your fingers barely even touched the thing.

- before you even know it, you collapsed on the ground, bursting into a loud fit of giggles. sunghoon sat down from his position, exhausted that he had to hold himself up for so long but now laughing that he finally got to rest. “i win!”

- “awww not fair! you’re so much taller than me that you got to reach for it!” you whined, rolling around on the mat, “again please!”

- the butler laughed at your whines, “nuh-uh! it’s getting late now, you should be heading to bed.”

- you groaned, punching your little feet up in the air, “but i’m not sleepy! come onnn~ one more round pleasee?” you begged.

- you immediately stopped your whinings and bursted into another fit of laughter when sunghoon covered and rolled you with the mat, covering your whole body except for your head that stuck out from one of the holes.

- sunghoon laid there on top of you, laughing when you tried to escape but soon gave up, looking at him and laughing alongside him as well.

- he smiled at you, patting on your head as you continued giggling at the state you were in, “off to bed now, okay? we’ll play again tomorrow.”

- “MOM!!!” you screamed at the top of your lungs as your little feet made contact with the marble floor, running as fast as you can towards the door but was stopped when someone pulled you back by your forearm.

- your butler shushed you down, placing a finger on your mouth. you obeyed, though you wanted to just get out of the room and run to your loving mother’s arms.

- sunoo sighed, sitting down on the floor and pulling you onto his lap. you looked away from him, upset by his reply to your proposal just seconds ago.

- you wanted to dress up, none of the maids had been present since they were all busy prepping up the castle for a special occasion. the butler was assigned to look after you since he was done with all the things he needed to finish for the day.

- you had asked him to braid your hair like elsa’s, he had panicked and refused because he supposedly “didn’t know” and the maids might make a fuss out of it.

- folding your arms, you let out a loud huff just enough for sunoo to hear. “liar. i heard that you have an older sister and you do her hair whenever she asks you to.”

- “i’m sorry princess. it’s just that...” he started, thinking of an excuse to use, “your hair is too precious to be styled by me.”

- you turned to look at him, “you’re not fooling me this time, sunoo-ah. i just want you to style my hair. pretty please? with cherry on top? i trust that you’ll do a good job.”

- sunoo smiled at you, taking your small hand in his and caressing the back of it with his thumb. “okay, okay... i’ll do it only because you asked nicely.”

- your eyes lit up at his words, “really?! you’ll really braid my hair?? you’re the best!” you stood up from his lap, placing a hand on your heart, grinning as you said, “it’s true when i say that i would like you to style my hair from now on because you are THE best hairstylist i’ve ever seen!”

- “i haven’t even styled your hair yet.” sunoo joked, messing up your hair as you giggled, “okay come on now... lets get you ready.”

YANG JUNGWON as your butler!

- your butler stared at you, confused, “y-you want to play barbies with me? how about with annie over there?” he pointed out the maid that stood by the door.

- you shook your head, folding your arms, “no! i’ve played with her way too much, i don’t want to annoy her. i wanna play with you jungwon-ah!”

- the maid giggled, “go on, jungwon-ssi. she wants to play with you, there’s no harm in doing so.”

- jungwon gulped, nodding at annie then looking back at you, he didn’t miss the way your eyes sparkled when he turned back to you. “you’re really going to play with me?”

- he couldn’t say no, jungwon smiled and nodded again, making you scream out a “YAY!” as you quickly dashed to the other side of the room grabbing a handful of barbies from your box of toys.

- annie knew that jungwon was lowkey into playing with you, she wanted the both of you to have fun and spend time together since she knew that the next few days was going to be busy for him, preparing the castle for important guests visiting next week.

- “you’re not taking ken away from me!” you mimicked a barbie voice, jungwon giggling at your impression and soon clearing his throat for him to speak.

- “well too bad, because i’ve got him already.” jungwon said, his high-pitched voice surprising you as he ran away with your other doll and ken doll in his hands.

- you ran after him, holding your barbie doll, “yah! i really like your voice! please do it again!”

- jungwon laughed, “what are you talking about, princess? that was all just jokes, you’re not going to hear it again anytime soon.”

- “oh come on! jungwon-ah!~” you whined, finally catching up to him and tugging at his sleeve, “i wanna play with you more! you’re fun to play with, and i also really like your voice.”

- your butler giggled, kneeling down to your level to boop your nose making you scrunch your nose, “you’re cute. and only because of that, yes i’ll be playing with you more.”

- you grinned, wrapping your arms around jungwon’s neck, catching him by surprise. he hugged you back, looking at annie who smiled at him, giving him a thumbs up.

- oh he was definitely looking forward for more playtimes with you.

NISHIMURA RIKI as your butler!

- “dance with me!” you exclaimed, grabbing your butler’s hand as you pulled him to your side with all your might, him laughing at your attempt.

- you huffed and puffed, trying to get niki to move but he wouldn’t budge. his feet stayed glued to the ground as you whined as loud as you can.

- “princess, if you don’t stop pulling me, i will have to call annie over to tuck you in to bed.” he stated calmly, moving his hands behind his back as you continued doing everything you can to move him.

- you stopped, taking in a deep breath and out. you coughed out loud which left a worried expression on niki’s face.

- he walked away from your side to grab a glass of water from the counter. he returned as fast as he had left, handing you the glass of water to drink which you gladly took.

- after you gulped down half the glass, you returned it to him. “come on, niki-ah. you’re a good dancer i heard, i just wanna see you dance.” you mumbled out.

- you didn’t hear anything else after that, other than the sound of the airconditioning in the room.

- after about a moment of silence, you hear footsteps calmly walking away from you. you look up to see niki head to a table where the phone connected to the speaker was.

- music blasted out of the speakers at full volume, making you quickly cover your ears with your hands. niki gave you an apologetic look, lowering down the volume.

- the room was soon filled with laughter and shoes being dragged loudly across the fancy flooring. you clapped your hands with delight and jumped up and down, as niki did a freestyle in front of you.

- “go niki-ah!~” you cheered him on, he grinned as he held out a hand for you to take wherein you gladly took. you giggled as you danced along with him, without a care if someone could accidentally walk in on the two of you.

- the two of you were having too much fun to notice that your parents had witnessed the whole scenario when they happened to pass by the kitchen. with big smiles on their faces, they realized that you weren’t going to have such a hard time being the only heir to the throne after all.
