Idk I Might Actually Organize This Into A More Substantial Post Later - Tumblr Posts

HI I’M ALIVE!

I know it’s been a while, and I’m sorry for not posting anything recently as I’ve been drifting away from HTF and Tumblr as a whole, BUT I AM BACK! Sadly, it’s not HTF content or super slay art. Today I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind a lot regarding Twisted Wonderland.

For those who probably just found me bc I most likely tagged Twisted Wonderland HI, I exist! And for my followers who might not know what Twisted Wonderland is, it’s a game made by Disney based off of Disney villains, kinda like if Ever After High had a baby with Descendants. It takes place in a school setting.

Now something I’ve kinda noticed and I’m not sure if anyone else has talked about this yet, but the two most prestigious schools are all boy schools, (I’m assuming it’s RSA is an all boys school) which would naturally mean that boys would be the ones getting the better education, right? If that’s the case, the. What about the women?

Like, from a world building standpoint, the women would most likely be left in the dust since they aren’t given the same resources as the men. Maybe mages are a more male dominated field, or at least the people who make it big are more males.

Maybe when the school was being made there was an all girls school alongside it but for whatever reason it failed, or there was no all girls school to begin with.

Maybe they just thought NRC and RSA wouldn’t get as big as they did, or if they did plan it maybe at the time they didn’t think women would be interested in being mages.

Maybe in the universe of Twisted Wonderland there’s far less girls with magical and then boys.

idk I’m probably just over analyzing and it’s probably just something the creators didn’t think of, but part of me hopes it doesn’t get addressed because it’s just so fun to play around with. If your going to make a character your going to need a background, or hell if your going to make anything TWST your gonna need background and world building, and yes we have some history to build off of but there’s also gender norms that we get to play around with because of the implications of the best schools being boys only. In that way we kinda get to make our own little world to mess with, and I think that’s a really fun thing to do.
