I have this recurring idea for a drarry fic where they write letters to each other the summer after fourth year because why not. And narcissa likes Harry and thinks he’s good for Draco, so Harry ends up spending most of summer at the manor since the Dursleys can’t really stop Narcissa from bringing him there. Basically just a very soft and angst free summer with lots of flower language, frolicking, and Harry feeling happy for once. Narcissa is morally gray but a better person than in canon. Draco is Draco and gets a redemption arc. Lucius is just really a person and I guess it’s a lot lighter than canon.
I also thought I could expand this and have Draco eventually run away because he doesn’t want the dark mark. So then you have secret relationship Drarry having to function properly with the entirety of the order of the phoenix. I’d think Draco would live at Grimmauld with Sirius and Remus, who are also together now.
just generally a soft comfort Drarry fic with a bit of serious stuff, like Draco running away and whatnot.

Sitting outside the café, Lilith tried to ignore the iron of the chair threatening to burn her skin. Even though she wore full length pants, she had forgotten her gloves. The table was spray painted blue and to most people it would seem like it was made from plastic, but everytime her hands brushed against it to grab her coffee cup the metal burned her skin. She never really understood her iron allergy. People weren't allergic to iron, that wasn't a normal problem.
In an attempt to make herself comfortable, she leaned forward and rest her arms on the table. She was careful to make sure her sleeves covered the skin of her arms. She winced at the sudden warm feeling but ignored it as best she could.
Looking up from watching the foam of her coffee, she swore she saw a girl with red skin and fire like hair walk by her. The fire girl offered her a smirk as she made her way to the woods at the end of the street. She winks at Lilith before dissipating into a beam of sunlight.
Lilith blinks at looks around to see if anyone else saw what she did. When she noticed no one else had stopped conversations or look up from books, her shoulders slumped. Maybe that was enough coffee for the day.
A shuffle against him made Amasa glance down at the demoness using him as a living pillow. Valentine had her head resting on his shoulder, curled up with her own eyes transfixed on the TV. He was watching a movie by himself until his friend came into the room and asked to join. He didn't want to be rude and say no; now he was here. Amasa wasn't exactly upset about it. His love was out with her "other man", apparently trying to fix whatever Taehyung had messed up this time.
His lips curled into a smile seeing her so comfortable. Some kind of attention was better than none, in all honesty. Amasa didn't see his current love life in a good light right now. His girlfriend constantly going back to her ex and now he feared he likes his best friend more than he could admit.
He wasn't sure what to do.
Any option he has seems like the worst decision.
Amasa sighs before deciding to lay his head against Val's. He didn't see her smile as he closed his eyes and buried his face into her blonde hair.
