yo they/thems of tumblr i have a question

so like the person im dating my partner in crime my lover is non binary theyre female at birth n while theyre more or less fine with me calling them my gf because we both dont know what sounds good in a sentence thats also short i feel its a bit inappropriate cuz idk

anyway all this is to ask whats the non binary version of gf n bf or if yall dont like using something like that what dyou prefer

also if anything i just said is problematic in any way thats insulting to the lgbtqia+ community please let me know everything i said has no intention of harming others but it is completely possible i have in some way i havent considered please tell me n ill try to iron it out
