i was looking at mafuyu cards today, and i realised something.

before mafuyu left her mother, her expression in her cards were more or less all very severe, sad, angry, or a mix. they were also very sad, dark, depressing backgrounds, etc. but after she left and escaped to kanade, the cards become lighter, happier, brighter. she's even smiling in a cat-eared ghost guide untrained! not only that, she's not frowning anymore, her eyes also have more light in them. in almost none of them is she actually frowning, more so just having a neutral expression, but its already an improvement. it just feels like she's slowly healing away from that bitch and with niigo, and thats amazing. just...a thought i wanted to share :D
