Rewatching Dirty Dancing. I really like the movie, and no hate to Patrick Swayze, but…
If I (a 23-year-old, single woman) could’ve spent a vacation at Kellerman’s in 1963 with my wealthy parents, you wouldn’t find me wandering off to the staff quarters. The movie awakens a longing in me—a longing for a fancy summer in Virginia in the '60s. Imagine how cool it could’ve been; it makes me ache just thinking about it.
(I’m just really tired and in desperate need of a vacation, sigh…)
Another day, another semester of med school completed, and I still can't bring myself to be happy.
I just ask myself, what the next one will cost me.

Something I love about the TF2 community, is that there's very rarely any fights about ships... Or at least I've never seen any.
Like, in also every comment section of fanart or fanfics that contain a ship, there's always been a comment or two saying something like: "i don't ship them, but this is good." Or "I ship --- but I love these two aswell."
I've been apart of other fandoms in my life, and none of them have had such acceptance between ships.
Maybe that was just the fandoms I was apart of and this is completely normal, I don't know. But I think this'll be one of the things that I'll always associate with tf2 fandom.
