Thanks to the friends who inspired me to make a New Vegas OC!! Instead of a courier six, I thought it would be fun to make a companion character instead!
He’s a pre-war ghoul named Richard Marlow, but he usually goes by Marlow, Dick or other little nicknames. Before the war, Marlow was a high society dandy and a very famous plastic surgeon. His flawless record granted him seats in the wealthiest circles of the United States, so when he wasn’t working, he was partying with some of the most influential people of the time.
In 2281, Marlow is a traveling doctor who doesn’t concern himself with the warring factions of the Mojave. He used to live in Underworld until Doctor Borrows and the others couldn’t handle his eccentric nature anymore. Charon was tasked with literally throwing him out, but Marlow has a big crush on him so there’s no hard feelings.
Almost all of Marlow’s clothing is made of waterproof materials like rubber or vinyl because his job gets extremely messy. He has very poor vision that’s getting progressively worse with time, but he’s conducted so many surgeries that he can almost drive by feel at this point. Should the courier choose to recruit him, he will provide perfect medical care, but you’ll have to deal with his loud and outgoing personality in the dangerous wasteland.
