Thinking of the immortal x reincarnator trope

Tanya, obviously, the immortal, whilst MC or Y/N or reader or whatever is the reincarnator.

But here's the twist

Let's say before Tanya becomes a vampire, she'd met her mate, MC, but she didn't know that then. They are attached at the hip, thick as thieves.

Incidents happen to which MC passes away mysteriously, perhaps they had a fight before the incident, Tanya mourns. Sasha comes along, she becomes a vampire. Her human memories of MC kind of fade or become muddled.

MC reincarnates, but every time before they have a chance to meet something happens to MC. It's always a missed opportunity, and MC has to reincarnate again, MC doesn't remember, though, but she feels the pull of the soulmate bond.

Tanya, of course, keeps seeing this same girl every few decades or centuries, but she's already dead before she meets her. Despite that, she feels the odd pull of the soulmate bond.

Then, eventually, they do meet, and tanya realizes mate

Idk something something. I'll figure out a happy ending, maybe....or maybe it'll be sad who knows

It was really just the line of:

My dear, I would fall in love with you in any lifetime

And I'm just imagining instead of not having them meet/death before they do, they do meet every time and it's just angst for Tanya every time

I probs won't do that, just thoughts of imagine you keep falling in love everytime to have them ripped away(probs already done)
