Analysing the song lyrics of Julie and the Phantoms, part 1

Now or never

This one is pretty easy as there isn't much to unravel in the meaning of the song since the lyrics are pretty straight forward.

The lyrics are about how they (the boys) are never going to stop fighting until they get there. There being their dream or their goal.

The whole metaphor game in the song is quite violent but it's really impressive. By violent I mean things like "full charge, electric hammer to the heart", but also like "even if we hit the ground, we'll still fly".

The chorus "dreamin like we'll live forever but livin like it's now or never" as in, they're gonna live their life to the fullest but they're not gonna limit their dreams to those of mere mortal pessimists. Not that they're immortal, but they're embracing their passion.

It's a very motivating and inspirational song.

The bridge is my favorite part.

It starts with "We ain't searching for tomorrow, cause we got all we need today", as in why let time go to waste when we can live our life right now?

The next part of the bridge is "livin on a feeling that's been running through our veins, we're the revolution that's been singing in the rain", as in they're fighting to live to do what they've been meant to do all along (music) and they're gonna break through any barriers stopping them.

Personally, I absolutely love this song. The genre is exactly my kind as I'm a huge fan of pop-punk-rock genre artists (With Confidence, Sunset Curve, Mayday Parade, etc.) and the lyrics are so inspiring and motivating to me as a musician and depressed teenager.
