Whenever that one trope pops up in writing thats like a someone blasting abrasive and loud music with the intent to wake someone up, I always imagine the song being Youth Problem by Dreamcrusher, because I got woken up by that song once, and its honestly up there for one of the worst experiences in my life

back when I still shared my room with someone else they hated that I can't wake up with sound alone
Like alarms wouldn't usually work on me and they had to shake me to get me to wake up
Their first method was to use songs like these to try and get me to wake up
(they would go to the bathroom in the mean time)
((I would still be asleep by the time they came back))
The second was to throw stuff from my desk at me (it kind of worked but I have good aim even half asleep)
((They stopped with that once I managed to nail them in the head with the bottle they threw at me))
The last thing they did before we no longer shared rooms was use spray deodorant stuff and just absolutely drown me in it
(Bunk bed)
((I had the bottom bunk))
(((Move a lot while sleeping and kept falling off the top)))
Their reasoning was that I was at this point probably pretending to be asleep
< i was not
Woke up crying and barely breathing
good times good times
(we also had a curtain over the bunk bed so it was like the worst hotbox ever)
