When someone comments negatively about how I’ve decided to do my hair, makeup, or clothes this is how I respond with varying levels of politeness.
“Ok? It’s my face tho. I really don’t care if you think winged eyeliner is stupid because I have good natural lashes. I like it, I’m comfortable, so imma wear it and you can fuck right off.”
Why do old people get so mad about the eyeliner😂 I don’t even do big dramatic wings either wtf😂 I mean you can have whatever opinion you want but that doesn’t mean I need to change to suit your preference.

I improved a lot over this decade and I’m real proud of myself for it! I can’t wait to see how I’ll continue to improve in the years to come!!!

So long old glasses! My Zenni Optical order arrived today!
(Forgive my “I’m not working so why do it” hair and Marshall’s butt. He was helping.)
They are all purple, because I am obsessed (and I figured why not go full purple?) I can’t decide which pair I like best. I think I’ll wear each one for a week and see how I like them. What does you guys think?
So, it’s been a year since my first Zenni order. Of the three pairs I got last year, I ended up wearing the pair with the sparkles the most. The wire ones weren’t as comfortable as I’d hoped and the bigger frames slid down when I wore them with a mask. I went back to the eye doctor in late October. My prescription hasn’t changed, but I figured I’d order new glasses anyways.
This time I branched out a bit more.
I like all three pairs. We’ll see how they do with masks. (I still have to wear one for work.) I think the teal ones look nice with this shirt. I may try to match my glasses and my outfits more often.
Zenni Optical is great if you need glasses and don’t have tons of money. Once again, I got three pairs for under $100.
(The hair is still messy, but at least the cat’s butt isn’t in these pictures. Also, I didn’t realize the faces I was making…I picked the best of each to share.)
