here’s a silly, lighthearted question for kpopblr because i’m curious - what’s one thing about you that could get your fandom card revoked? for me it’s that i spent way too long as a carat thinking hit is a title track and fear is a bside (when it’s actually the other way around shsjshskddjk)

for fandom behavior: I personally think it’s ridiculous the whole views/voting craze some fans have about their faves
like you probably don’t see it but that’s actually a disservice to the artists
because they’re not trending or getting awards because their music resonated with the general public in an organic way
it was because they had some crazy fans with way too much time in their hands
it’s not fair to anyone involved
regarding kpop in general: the levels that SM exploits their male artists sex appeal (minors included) is fucking insane
it’s definitely not as bad as some female girlgroups out there
but if I were a kpop boy signed under SM I would definitely run at one point
what else
artistically and sonically speaking
NewJeans is definitely the most “groundbreaking gg that debuted this year
HOWEVERRR I do think that IVE has a better chance of survival because they essentially make <music for gays>
like have you ever listen to Love Dive or After Like? if they were released through a western artist they’d be the gay anthems of the year
