SLASHED A 12 Day Spooky Season CAS Challenge 🩸💀
Hi friends! It's getting closer to one of my favorite holidays, and I thought I'd make a CAS challenge to help bring in the spooky season. I've had this challenge in mind for a while, and now is the perfect time for it. I love slasher films, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you name it. So, that's the theme of this CAS challenge. No rules, these are your slasher film characters. Just share, tag me (I'd love to see), and have fun!

Character Glossary
The Final Girl
Usually the one that survives the onslaught, they give the killer a run for their money
The Jock
A douche. They’re arrogant, irresponsible, and usually one of the ones to die first.
The Bad Girl
Flirtatious, sexy, and catty to a fault. Usually stuck up. They mean well, but ultimately cares only for themselves.
The Outcast
Responsible and level-headed, they're often perceived as a "Debby Downwer".
The Academic
Nerdy, kind-hearted, and loyal. They're either finding clever ways to outwit the killer or making the cast easy prey - by accident of course.
The Sacrifice
Usually the first to meet the killer, they typically die a gruesome death, ultimately warning the others of just what kind of danger their in.
The Skeptic
“See it to believe it” is their motto, and by then it's usually too late.
The Meddler
If there's a demonic ritualistic book locked by key, they're usually going to find a way to pry it open. Everyone suffers because of them, everyone.
The Harbinger
A creepy old person usually warning the main cast to stay far away from whatever impending danger they seem to be crashing into.
The Detective
Thinks they know best, and the main cast hates them for this. They're always poking around, checking things out. Typically they're a blessing to The Final Girl, helping best the killer, or a curse, in which you're happy to see them die.
The Hunter
Knows the killer's weakness and the best way to beat them. The Final Girl typically teams up with them to finally nail the killer. Usually, they're considered the other final character to survive.
The Killer
Iconic. The bringer of doom. It gives them pleasure to pick of the cast, reveling in their own cat and mouse game. No matter their backstory, it always leads to slaughter in the end.

It's a challenge for just one generation, but they have a lot to complete and explore!
General rules
start with a single YA Sim
your starting Sim can be any gender and sexuality
they can have preexisting relationships and an additional backstory

Generation rules
Ever since you were born, spirits have always found their way to you. You don’t know why, but they were always there—watching you, guiding you. It never really bothered you, however, your family disagreed. They never believed you, they thought you were making it up. But it still made them uncomfortable. Hearing you talk about something so unnatural made them feel uneasy. When you became a young adult, they wanted you out of their home. Fine, you never felt welcome anyway. After some wandering around you found an abandoned house. It might need a lot of fixing up, but you don’t have much of a choice. At least now you’ll have peace to focus on finding out what these spirits want, where they came from… You decided to dedicate your life to learning about all occult beings and everything their worlds have to offer. Maybe you will finally feel accepted and free in one of them…?
traits: gloomy, loner, erratic aspiration: your choice career: paranormal investigator (optional)

skills to max: medium, mischief, organ collections to complete: crystals, sugar skulls

unlock the Coffee Fanatic lifestyle
become best friends with the Grim Reaper - extra challenge: don't use the phone to invite him over, get creative with summoning him...
become 2 different occults, but find a way to become human again
have babies with 3 different occults (vampire, werewolf, Father Winter, Patchy, Servo, plant Sim - a lot of things count as occults!)
host occult parties every weekend
write 5 books about your life
become a ghost
All of these rules are just suggestions, all that matters is that you have fun! I tried to limit the amount of packs needed for the challenge but feel free to skip things you can't do if you don't have the pack or replace any rule with something else fitting from another pack!
The name of the challenge is, of course, inspired by/a play on the Not so Berry challenge!
