Izumi was the one who slaughtered the Uchiha Clan and became a Rogue. Would she spare Itachi though??

I think she would spare Itachi. Since she’s so in love with him, probably more than he is with her, she wouldn’t be able to go through with killing him. Instead, similarly to what Itachi did to Sasuke, she would put him in a Tsukuyomi and tell him that he needs to be stronger.

If she massacred the clan without Obito, I don’t see her willingly joining the Akatsuki. Maybe she just happened to be in the right place at the right time? Running into Obito, discovering that she’s the only (or one of the only) Uchiha left, so he takes her under his wing.

But Konan would be SO happy to have another female there! I see them getting close~
