Hi I hope you are doing well today, and I would like to ask for a request please. If it’s possible, what would it be like to be a close friend of Jane as a platonic headcanon? The character or reader involved can be any gender your comfortable with, or gender neutral. You don’t have to write this one if you can’t think of anything or are busy. Jane Everlasting/GN Reader Headcanons

Jane is one of the, shall we say...tamer Creeps that live in the Manor, for multiple reasons.

It was initially a little difficult to befriend her since she always isolates herself from the group and doesn't interact with anyone outside of what her job requires, but you were persistent, and that broke her over time.

Plus, she saw how you treated everybody and came to realize that you weren't as unkind as the others.

Being friends with her would include lots of binge-watching random shit at 3AM, cuddling under a fuzzy blanket when it got cold, and falling asleep on the bed.

You would also most definitely wake up with multiple bruises the next day - Jane is a sleep-kicker, you see.

Also sometimes a sleep-puncher.

She always profusely apologizes for beating you up when you weren't even awake to defend yourself, but let her off the hook. She didn't mean it.

It would still be wise to make sure a pillow is between you and her each time you think you'll doze off, ya know. For safety.

Jane rarely lets her softer side show through because she's surrounded by cold-blooded killers all the live long day and that kinda requires a badass facade, just so you don't become the prey.

But when she's alone with you, that cold exterior comes crumbling down, and she'll allow herself to laugh and have a good time.

She's a very calm, quiet, mature person, which also means she doesn't participate in any crazy antics, and she watches from the sidelines with silent ridicule when anything like that happens.

She is very much the 'mom' friend, and will never fail to scold you if you're doing something reckless or stupid. Yet she will also make sure you're taking care of yourself and will be there for you when you need it.

When she trusts you, I mean really trusts you, she will make sure that you, Toby, and herself all hang out together since Toby is her honorary little brother and all, and it's only right that her bestie gets along with the one person she cares about most in this cruel world.

If you and Toby end up not liking each other, she will be heartbroken.

Of course, she'll still spend time with both of you - separately - but she wanted all of you to be close to each other!

If, however, you do bond, she'll definitely invite you into the book club she and Toby formed, and you'll officially be a part of the clan!

She considers you family and wouldn't hesitate to lay down her life for you if it was needed. A very loyal gal, this one is.

Once you actually get her to love you, she's a friend for life! The only thing that could ever break that is if you soiled her trust in some major way. Don't do that to her 🥺

hey! love your work its super cool. i was wondering if you could do a werewolf gn reader with toby, ej, or jane as how they would react to figureing out MC is a werewolf and how it would affect how they care for you???

I went ahead and did headcanons so I could add each character, instead of a scenario for a single one. Hope that’s okay :D

Toby

Toby was mostly just kinda...”eh?” Like he knew there had to be an explanation for why you acted the way you did, and your behavior, and your strange habits. Why you’d disappear seemingly without a rhyme or reason every time there was a full moon.

He certainly didn’t expect you being a werewolf was the sole cause, but the more he contemplated it, the more it made sense.

He has been very desensitized to the supernatural and otherworldly creatures, thanks to his duty as a ‘proxy’ of Slenderman, so he wasn’t all that shocked - not by normal human standards, anyway.

He was quick to accept you and your ways and made an effort to learn as much about your kind as he could, and each time he had a question, he would ask you to make sure his facts lined up. Not so surprisingly, what society called a ‘werewolf’ was vastly different from what they actually were, and he was learning this more and more every day.

Overall, he still treats you the same, with the exception of ensuring he isn’t around the nights that you transform. He still views you as the same person he fell in love with, no fear or hesitation whatsoever.

Jane

Immediate gasp. “I knew it!!”

Jane is a very smart girl, so she had taken your actions and personality traits and started wondering if there was something more to you than she initially thought. When she did some research regarding cursed and legendary creatures, she was quick to figure it out, and outright questioned you about it one day.

You were straightforward with your answer and she got the proudest grin on her face.

Very curious about your diet, your abilities, etc, but doesn’t go overboard with her inquiries. She doesn’t brag about you being a werewolf to other people, either; it’s simply a detail that’s brought up on occasion in casual conversation.

She wishes there was a way to cuddle with you when you’re in your other form, because she thinks you’d be super comfortable and fluffy.

Jack

If there’s one person that would absolutely not judge you for something you can’t even control, it’s this guy.

Being an unwilling, organ-eating demon himself, he certainly understands the internal struggle you can go through, being half human and half a monster, and will be right by your side when you may feel a trace of guilt or otherwise about it.

 In fact, if anything, it further increases your bond, as the two of you can connect on a more personal level than anybody else could.

He doesn’t assume anything about your species, nor does he pry needlessly into your life. He doesn’t like talking about what he does, why would he expect you to be any different?

The two of you together make a supernatural power couple and whenever someone hits a nerve, the other is there to defend them.
