And, since he’s officially joined the household, let’s officially meet Jareth Klein (soon to be Jareth Kat). He is a Family sim as well, and his personality is almost exactly the same as Tara’s which explains why they get along so well. I’m not sure he’s going to be the most interesting spouse in the world, but since the focus of this challenge is the cats, he doesn’t really matter. (Sorry, Jareth!)
And we’ll end with a final picture of all the kitties. Or most of them. I think I missed one black kitten. It’s hard to see them on that dark tile floor. (I don’t know why they were all gathered in the bathroom like that...you can’t explain cats...) Eleven cats is a lot, but I can’t wait to see what all our kittens grow into!
That’s the end of the Kat round. I’ll admit, I didn’t go back and look at what happened last time before starting this one, and I didn’t review the rules of the challenge either. (That’s why Tara spent a lot more than three hours off the lot both times she went out. Not a huge rule break, I don’t think, but yeah...)
I also didn’t take 50 bazillion pictures of the cats this time around. In my defense, it’s hard to keep track of them, and so many of them are teeny baby kitties, so it’s hard to get the camera down to their level. But it does mean that I don’t have any extra pictures for this Thoughts post. Sorry!
The round was fairly easy. I think I played the majority of it in a couple of hours. I don’t tend to do a lot of Plot with this household, so that’s typical.
I did like having Jareth bring other sims out to meet Tara. I love the idea of Kenton being his stepdad who wanted to see what was going on with his stepson. It gives Jareth a bit more personality. I’ll probably try to keep Kenton, and the other sims who came with them to the second dinner, around as friends for the Kats. Maybe they’ll try to invite their friends over for the wedding? Or a dinner party? With Tara’s poor cooking skills and the multitude of cats, that could be interesting.
