Headcanon: Jeff would sometimes get scared of smile dog since sometimes smile dog be looking at him a little to much and Jeff thinks that smile dog is judging him probably saying stuff like, “Look at this rat boi eating some dry ass noddles”.

yess i usually write for mansion au, and you asked so you shall receive. 💌 anyways these are my jtk headcanons, i’ll start with what he was like younger and slowly get into just general things i hc about him and tysm for requesting<3 i hope you like them

Headcanons on younger jeff the killer/general headcanons

a/n: before starting, i’m just gonna leave this here because this is how i imagine my version of jeff to look. [is it obvious im living in a warped fantasy for my own mental sanity]

First arriving:

▹ when he first got there, i hc him to be around 17ish [i created my own timeline so shh]

▹ he was kinda pissed because being in the mansion came with rules and he’s not one to care for the rules

▹ literally was so angsty, he would stay in his room and not talk to anyone. usually he would just be listening to deftones and anything in that type of genre

▹ it’s not that he was shy, because he isn’t the shy type. he just quite literally didn’t care to meet anyone

▹ if he wasn’t listening to music while staring out the window like he’s edward cullen then he was practicing on some shitty guitar he’s had since 10, the same one he got as a christmas gift but never actually picked up until getting to the mansion. i mean, there wasn’t anything to do around there so might as well learn now.

▹ the guitar is a red fender standard stratocaster

▹ eventually he couldn’t keep up this act because he found himself bored with nothing left to do

▹ for awhile, he would just walk around the mansion and observe the items within the mansion. there wasn’t many people to talk to since at the time not many of the other creeps had arrived.

▹ the one who was there though was ben, who had left his door open

▹ jeff’s not the most respectful person and nor does he care about manners so he just walked right in

▹immediately ben struck up conversation being the extrovert that he is

▹ i’ll save a long story and just say that these two clicked fast, and super well

▹ from there, they were best friends. 4 lyfers.

▹ i mean like they clicked so well that jeff was telling him things he would never even tell his own brother

▹ jeff didn’t start smoking weed till he met ben who taught him how to roll and taught him everything he needed to know about the drug

▹ after getting comfortable in the mansion and talking to people again, he became more open and willing to meet people. he’s still an asshole about it though

General hcs:

▹ i think most people hc him like this but it just makes total sense: this guy is a jerk. a complete asshole. little regard for watching his language or his tone. and he knows it. does he care? nah.

▹ practically says whatever is on his mind and if that pisses you off then good, that was his goal.

▹ constant swearing, he wears it out

▹ i hc him to come from a wealthy family, but he never really cared about whether he was rich or not. he’s not a very materialistic guy

▹ which means his room is pretty much empty besides a bed and some old vape packages laying around

▹ i said that he’s been practicing guitar but he’s not any good. the best he can do is a 30 second tune for a few songs. he just really doesn’t care to put in all his time and effort. [but he thinks anyone who does play the guitar is hot 😉]

▹ pretty cold and distant, unless he’s around ben. he’s a bit more open and warmer if ben is around but not by that much.

▹ biggest “idgaf” energy

▹ he can be difficult to talk to because of his attitude and sarcastic remarks and the need to get under people’s skin but if you have patience with him he’ll lighten up and become more friendly

▹ nu metal fan and a casual enjoyer of punk rock. favorite bands of his would probably be deftones and radiohead and he definitely likes a sprinkle of my chemical romance SPECIFICALLY the three cheers era. oh and guilty pleasure? twice, the kpop group. but he wouldnt DARE to tell a soul, not even ben [idc if it’s “out of character” the more you think about it kinda fits him]

▹ nirvana fan

▹ for sure he owns an ipod nano 4th gen with all his music downloaded

▹ does enjoy some anime, usually horror or the darker ones. very much a fan of neon genesis evangelion and death note. also a fan of attack on titan. does not like anything girly or overly romantic

▹ he actually didn’t care for anime until ben showed him NGE. surprisingly, jeff enjoyed it so much that he went looking for more animes to watch. so we can thank ben for making him an anime fan

▹ definitely watches adventure time and south park

▹ always wearing black, he thinks it makes him look best

▹ he wants to be the type of guy who reads books but he just doesn’t have the patience to get past 100 pages

▹ has a collection of stolen pocket knives

▹ steals a bunch of shit from stores just cause he can, and if he likes you he may just bring you back a little gift.

▹ he doesn’t know how to show affection or appreciation or any emotion at all. like he’s so bad at it. the best way he shows that he atleast cares is giving little gifts or awkwardly offering to be helpful in someway

▹ another strange way he shows that he cares is by awkwardly sending you a song he likes and just being like “listen, if you want. i dont care. but its good”

▹ he is just so so awkward when he isn’t being his cold usual self

▹ favorite color is dark red, of course.

▹ i hc him to be tall like 5’10 maybe

▹ stays up till like 3am and sleeps till 1pm

▹ always works out after waking up

▹ smells like a hint of weed

▹ makes a lot of dark and fucked jokes, usually about his victims and murders.

▹ both him and ben love making puns and none of them are as funny as they think they are

▹ i like to think he sings pretty decently but wouldn’t dare to sing around people because that is the one and only thing he gets shy about

▹ actually enjoys some classical piano on the rare occasion

▹ big cat person, he’s actually great with animals. that’s the ironic thing about jeff. he can kill a human no problem, but a cat? anything but the cat.

▹ not really into video games

▹ he’s a nerd when it comes to space. it’s like a special interest of his. ask him anything in regards to space, he’ll have the answer and it may shock you how much he knows

▹ this nerd can also play chess

▹ this man has the lowest patience of anyone you’ve ever met

▹ anger issues, badly. he has holes in his walls that he just covers up with a random poster or puts shitty plaster over

▹ if you’re gonna be his friend, or especially his significant other, you’ll have to have the upmost patience with him otherwise it won’t last a week.

▹ i hc this man to be a SLUT. he definitely sleeps around, and he’ll take advantage of fangirls before gutting them. if he’s had a girlfriend, he never actually gave a shit about them.

▹ any relationship he has had was only for sex which doesn’t make sense why he would make things official considering this guy cheats on his girlfriends.

▹ in a relationship, he’s toxic. manipulative. and selfish. the gaslighting master.

▹ underneath all of this though, he’s just an emotional emo boy with lots of pent up anger and doesn’t know who or what to take it out on

TOBIAS ROGERS

• He’s naturally pessimistic, and has never cared for the rambunctious type. So at first, he’d find you very annoying and childish.

• Due to his devotion to the Slenderman, he has little to no control over his emotions and doesn’t have much of a personal life. He comes to find your extroverted personality somewhat..refreshing after spending so much of his time within the gloomy (and gorey) confines of the forest.

• Your time spent together may be short, but he grows to enjoy your company, and spends all of his personal time with you. He enjoys listening to you speak and silently admires how outgoing you can be. His distaste quickly becomes less apparent, and is replaced with a sense of familiarity. This would probably take an extremely long time though.

EYELESS JACK

• He has very poor social skills, and extremely prominent trust issues. He doesn’t trust anyone, especially those who are outwardly trying to befriend him.

• This doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to meet someone, possibly fall in love, but it does make it very very hard for him. Like toby, once there is a bond built he becomes quite fond of your outgoing personality.

• He lacks basic communication skills due to a sheltered upbringing and his adult life being cut short, to put it simply. A lot of experiences with you will be firsts for him in social, communication aspects. He greatly enjoys conversations with you and hearing you recount past wild escapades once he’s comfortable enough to let his guard down. Although, like toby this will take years.

JEFF THE KILLER

• To put it simply, he hates it at first. He sees it as a challenge. Do you think you’re better than him?! He hates anybody whose better than him at anything, and he has horrible social skills. At first, you’ll catch him glaring, then he’ll try to start a fight with you for no apparent reason. Then he’ll try to make conversation even though his social skills are horrible, then be offended when you don’t want to speak to him.

• If at some point you forgive him for being a nuisance, you will have to calm him down a lot and essentially talk for him in many situations. He’s not as calm or mature as Jack or toby in this sense.

• Similarly to Jack, you’ll have the stronger communication skills in the relationship. He differs from Jack in the way that he won’t let you.

LAUGHING JACK

• He’s extremely extroverted as well, so you’ll essentially be bouncing off of eachother and annoying everybody.

• He’s very happy that you’re equally as hyper at him, nobody else is. Mischief is on the horizon…

• He’s basically the only one whose normal about anything. Despite being a murderous clown. Does that say a lot?

My favorite Jeff the Killer headcanon is that he is just hated by everyone in the mansion for being a terror

Slender-Mansion Hcs

• The mansion itself is ever changing. It has a certain look to it— and a distinct energy that surrounds it, but it never looks quite the same. As well as the forest, constantly changing, trees moving around, paths being created— And the mansion is never in the same place.

• The mansion is not visible to those who are not resident’s of the mansion or those who are not specifically chosen by the entity of the forest.

• The residents of the mansion are not there by choice but rather forced out of necessity. Either they have died in the forest and are tethered to it forever, are lured and injured by the slender-man, or must join out of pure necessity.

• Although the mansion is constantly changing, it changes only slightly, constantly appearing off and giving an “uncanny valley” feeling to somebody. The bedrooms of the residents are small, dim and dreary— consisting of a bed and dresser. The interior of the mansion is very dark, almost entirely black and very minimalistic.

JEFF THE KILLER GENERAL HEADCANONS

(mentions of SH!)

• He has extremely violent mood swings. He goes between acting like a tantrumming child, to completely mute constantly. It’s almost impossible to navigate these changes. He also goes through frequent phases of mutism, nobody has ever known why. This started in early childhood.

• He has always been violent from a very early age. But he holds a certain kind of innocence, the kind you see in a child’s eyes when they’re burning ants with a magnifying glass. He doesn’t really understand what he’s doing, he never has. He isolates himself from the rest of society, and doesn’t really believe anyone else is of importance.

• In my AU , he was never set on fire by bullies but rather disfigured as a child due to an accident. Much of his resentment comes from being treated like as if he wasn’t human most of his life. Carving the smile was a way to regain control during a mental break. The only thing that’s human about him is his insecurity. He often covers his scars up as much as possible. Although he recuts his smile often.

• He’s very insecure about being small, he’s shorter than most men his age (he’s 17 in my AU) and hates being viewed as a child. His features are all around very childish or “feminine”. This a great source of insecurity that he is extremely sensitive too. The tiniest mention of it could set him off into violence.

• As I mentioned previously, he often has outbursts that resemble a tantrumming child. Throwing fits in complete solitude, often containing screaming, wailing and creating welts and bruises on his body. This is very common and often results in him going to sleep aching and red faced, then repeating the cycle the next morning.

• He’s most definitely not straight, possibly not even attracted to women in the slightest. Although this is entirely repressed due to trauma from being bullied as a young child due to his differences and less stereotypical “masculine” looks.

• He’s alone more often than not, he doesn’t have any friends, partially because he hates being around people, and partially because he never learned how to make friends. He doesn’t need them, he doesn’t need anyone.

Me and who?

I haven’t read the pastra rewrite because of this. The trope is so so tired and so unrealistic. I don’t exactly like the “realistic” creepypasta that’s becoming a lot more popular because I just feel like it takes some whimsy/creativity away from the original fandom, but this isn’t really like that. It also makes no real sense to just be “born like that” and adds absolutely nothing to the story—it even takes from it!! it’s so lame and disappointing because I feel like this happens with every rewrite we get every few years.

Massive hater moment: I liked Pastras Jeff the killer rewrite until the reveal that Jeff was essentially fucked up in the head his whole life. The born sociopath/psychopath trope just feels mean to me as a schizo, but is also pretty boring. why is it less impactful for the derangement of a character to come from trauma? It honestly feels less sanist to take the edgy approach of the original, even if both play into stigma at the end of the day the latter feels less cynical.

You and Jeff were sitting on one of the few couches in the living room of the mansion

you both had nothing to do and everyone was doing their own thing

he was on his phone, doing god knows what when you suddenly got an idea

you stood up and sat right next to him, and gently cupped his jaw, pulling him in for a kiss which he instantly returned

He immediately dropped his phone and gripped your waist, pulling you up onto his lap

The simple kiss turned into a heated make out session, which eventually turned into him carrying you to his room and slamming the door behind you two

You and Liu were walking in the woods as you often did, chatting about anything and everything

He had his scarf pulled down for once, something he only did around you

He was rambling about something Jeff had said that morning before you stopped walking and turned to him, grabbing him by the collar and pressing your lips to his

He was shocked, his eyes widened for a moment before melting into it

He gently grips your waist, pulling you closer to him

The kiss lasts for a minute, slow and sweet

When you pull away, he's smiling and looking away from you

He shakes his head when you smile and continue to walk, him trailing to catch up to you

You were both laying on his bed, the room silent other than the noise of the gaming remote clicking and the video game audio from the tv

You were bored, and decided fuck it

You gently slipped your hand around the back of his neck, and pulled him closer

When he realized what you were doing, he playfully pushed you away

He laughed when you pouted and pulled your arm, pulling you to him

He kissed you, laying back so you flopped ontop of him

between how desperately long he had waited to kiss you, and all the laughing from the both of you, the kiss was messy

It was only broken apart when the death indication noise left the tv

"Y/N you are so lucky I love you." He grumbles.

Eyeless Jack

You both were quietly restocking the medical shelves with supplies the proxies had scavenged up earlier that day, simply enjoying eachothers company

It was one of the rare days that he had his mask off

His victim from the day before was rather aggressive and managed to punch him square in the face, breaking the already worn mask in two

He stopped when he felt you starring at him and turned towards you

When you went to pull him down to kiss him, he launched his head back in confusion

"Y/n, what the hell are you doing?" He asked, confusion evident in his tone

"Oh, I was going to kiss you, but I'm sorry, I won't try to again," you replied, cheeks pink with embarrassment as you turned away to continue restocking.

He then tilted his head and smiled, gently cupping your jaw and turning your head

The kiss was short, nothing more than a soft peck, but It was enough for him to notice your heartbeat picking up in pace.

The kiss was gentle, you gently kissed his lips, which he shyly returned

When you pulled away, his face was BEAT red, and all he could do was smile and lean down to hide his face in your lap.
