note: accidentally wrote 2,758 words for a blurb request so i thought i’d allow it it’s own post and yeah okay maybe the title has to do w his new hair color 

“Guk,” You were cooing, drawing out his name in looping trills of cursive personified into spoken articulation. Your cheek lulled against Jeongguk’s side where he held you upright, chin hooked into the hard planes of skin as you absently wriggled your fingers for his hair, “My strawberry boy who’s so sweet and kind and nice to me-” Your ramblings paused when you hiccuped, a full bodied, exaggerated movement in your stupor, “-even when I’m annoying.”

He sighed, shoving his hand under your arm on the far side of your body, angling you into his bedroom. “You’re not annoying,” His voice was hushed, gentle reassurance as he plopped you by your shoulders to the edge of the bed. One of his hoodies was placed in your lap, hand patting the fabric over your thighs as he spoke to your wide eyed gaze, “Just drunk.”
