The rain smattered against your apartment windows loudly, the grey clouds above the horizon making it seem as if Seoul had just woken up. Trying your best to untangle yourself from the mess of limbs that consisted of Jungkook’s long legs intertwining yours and his arms wrapped around your waist, you groan slightly when his heavy arm doesn’t allow you to move an inch and after 5 minutes of making an effort to move his body away from yours, you finally give up before snuggling up closer to him. 

Ignoring the feeling of something damp on the mattress beneath you, you’re allowed only around a minute of peace before finally letting it sink in that your lower back also feels slightly wet. 

Huh. You don’t remember spilling any water and had certainly crossed the age where you still wet the bed when you weren’t conscious enough to realise that you needed to pee. You hadn’t crossed the age where you accidentally stained the bed though. Eyes suddenly opening in realisation, you reach your hand behind your back to pat at the place it was wet and it surely felt the same way it felt when the blood had accidentally seeped out from your pads and onto the bed sheet. The rubber cloth you had out to avoid staining the sheets had shifted over the nighttime and you tried getting up again instinctively, before realising that you were still in Jungkook’s tight hold. 

Panicking internally, as was in your nature, you tap Jungkook’s arm in an attempt to wake him up just so he could let you out of his hold. You did feel guilty, really guilty, for disturbing Jungkook just because of your carelessness but it couldn’t be called carelessness completely either. No matter how much you tried to sleep in a position that would avoid the leakage of blood, heavy was your blood flow and there was only so much you could while unconscious. 

His soft features contorted into a light frown before his eyes were fluttering open and gazing down at you with so much love, you almost forgot about the situation at hand. “Good morning, baby.” he lets out in his morning voice and you reply with a short kiss to his chapped lips before saying “Jungkook, I need to get up. Just let me move for a minute and I’ll be back. You can go to sleep again.” He nods and you get out carefully, making sure to cover the small stain with the blanket and quickly jog into the washroom, grateful that your shorts were black and the stain wouldn’t be very visible. Doing your business and changing into the pyjamas that were, fortunately, hanging at the back of the washroom door, you step out only to see Jungkook changing the sheets.

Oh shit.

“Ju-Jungkook..?” you call out uncertainly, worried that he had seen your stain. He turns around after tucking the corner and smiles gently when he sees your distressed form, walking up to you to pull you closer and resting his forehead against yours. “I know Y/n..Shh, it’s alright.”

Looking up at him with fearful eyes, you don’t relax even when he squeezes your waist with his large eyes and that results in him trying to comfort you again.

Jungkook knew the problems you faced when on your period and didn’t want his girlfriend thinking that he was ever disgusted by it. Or even judged her for that matter. You mumble something and he doesn’t quite catch it so he hums and leans in closer “Sorry..” 

“No, Y/n don’t be sorry. It’s fine, I’ve told you.” Hearing you sniffling, Jungkook immediately gasps and hugs you tight, reassuring you again and again. “Don’t cry darling, it happens.”

Seeing you upset was hurting him more than ever and as much as he tried to shush you, your sobbing gradually increased and in no time, you were silently crying into Jungkook’s shirt. He didn’t understand why you were crying but brushed the thought aside as your hormones acting up. 

After 10 minutes of you crying, you look up at Jungkook to find his eyes already set on you. Your apology was muffled by his lips, the adoration with which he kissed you making you tear up again. 

You loved Jungkook so much. 

“I love you. So, so much. I’m so sor-” his eyes convey his annoyance at your constant apologising and you quickly change your words “I shouldn’t have been this careless. I’ll try not to stain the bed ever again.” 

He nods dismissively and hugs you, replying to your ‘I love you’ with a kiss and “I love you too baby.” Jungkook walks you towards the bed and lays the rubber cloth slash blanket before asking you if you wanted to sleep for some time more.”If you’re comfortable with it only. We can totally go have breakfast as well!” 

Smiling, you choose the latter and walk out of the room to make some breakfast with Jungkook tagging behind you.
