This is why I don't like Conrad or Belly very much. Like, they're both willing put themselves first and screw the consequences. I mean, Belly knew she was with Jer when she kissed Con, and instead of saying bro we can't be together I'm with ur brother, she dumps jer!! And then they expect jer to be fine with them dating immediately. Like no duh he doesn't want to talk to either of you!! Like I lowkey don't even ship Jelly anymore because I don't want Belly to be happy with either of them. I just was Jeremiah to be happy.

HATED this scene! Like still in high school Jere is sitting there struggling with the bills and taking care of his mom, watching her fade away everyday, and Conrad wants to talk about Belly? That's what's important in that exact moment? And for Conrad to sit there and tell Jeremiah how he wants to be with Belly made me scream with frustration. Jere has feelings for her too!! Why are yours more important? And asking if Jere took a date to Homecoming, like that magically meant he was over Belly was ridiculous. Then Conrad telling him that he loves Belly but they don't want Jere to hate them, it was too much. It's like all Conrad wanted to hear was that Jeremiah was “okay” with it, but we all know he was going to do it either way.
