Forgot which episode but somone breaks into the flat and hold Ms.Hudson captive because Sherlock has Irene Adlers phone, in the time it took to tie him up, comfort Ms.Hudson, and wait for Jhon, he could've just thrown the guy out the window so what if he was waiting for Jhon to get there so he can show off?
