It's so funny that I ship all the crew among themselves meanwhile Nami is stuck on long-distance relationship hell
So I was thinking of songs to my One Piece ships:
Luffy/Usopp: The Last of the Real Ones - Fallout Boy
Nami/Vivi: Into the Night - Santana
Zoro/Sanji: Beggin - Maneskin
Franky/Robin: Smooth - Santana
Jinbei/Brook: Skeleton Appreciation Day - Will Wood
Jinbei/Robin: Sway - Michel Bublé
(Bonus: I just need Chopper singing Chop Away at my Heart. Every single time I say his name this song blasts in my head)

@mercedezedecrem then SAY NO MORE!!! TIME TO TYPE A THESIS!!
The Last of the Real Ones (Lusopp) - THIS ONE!! I see Usopp as the singing voice, expressing all his undying admiration and loyalty to Luffy, his best friend and captain. It carries some of the pain of his own insecurities, the guilt of what happenned in Water 7, but it's just so full of genuine love. And the part of "I will shield you from the waves if they find you/ I'll protect you" - when Luffy is at his lowest point after Marineford, Usopp is there screaming his name and crying. He might not be nearly as strong as Luffy, but he WILL be there to help with any burden, internal or external.
Into the Night (Namivivi) - Oh man... just... all the admiration, the love in these lyrics... I do think Nami and Vivi see each other as her saviour, not in the sense of dependence but as being stronger together, y'know. Nami fighting so hard and wanting to become stronger to protect Vivi, Vivi by Nami's side so determined to find her a doctor... this song evokes it all for me, they make each other stronger, and imagining them dancing in circles under the beautiful night sky, so happy to be together, is just... AAAAAARGH
Beggin' (Zosan) - Ok SO. I hc Sanji as dealing with a truckload of internalized homophobia pre-timeskip, so he keeps pushing Zoro away everytime they get closer, which leads to some (serious) fights between them. I see the song mostly as Sanji, post-timeskip and now much more accepting of himself, declaring his love to Zoro. The song carries their longing, their fights, their love. Their wanting and efforts to be truly good partners to each other.
Smooth (Frobin) - It's just their vibe, the rhythm and lyrics are perfect for them!! I picture Franky as the singer, and it's so beautiful to imagine them dancing to the chorus!
Skeleton Appreciation Day (Jinbrook) - To start off, this sounds a LOT like a song Brook would sing. And it fits how I see him and Jinbei's relationship - It's comfortably serene, it's humorous, and it shows their melancholic, longing side.
Sway (Jinrobin) - It's ellegant, beautiful, classy, and intense like them. I picture Jinbei as the singer. Just like Smooth, it's so beautiful to imagine them dancing to it.
