i was here from abyss to remembrance when i began to taper off, but since then, SIX WHOLE SEASONS HAVE HAPPENED.

I cant explain how much having a casual sketchbook has helped me in my art journey. that thing is filled with the ugliest shit ever and it’s fine because it’s only for me! it’s a dollar store pad of paper that started falling apart a month into using it. I glued it back together. I remember when I was a kid, i’d get a brand new sketchbook and tell myself everything in there was going to be perfect, but that just isn’t possible! instead of spending a long time on illustrations that i’d be too shy to show someone and wouldn’t learn very much from, i’ve made art more about learning.
my other sketchbook, which I recently posted a picture of, is more like a scrapbook of all my favorite things to make me happy. those two things can coexist!
id love to 3D print a femur and make it into a lamp but knowing me, I’d probably leave it incomplete somewhere, someone would see it, and then id get shot
i wanna learn color theory because yeah, I can put a solid color over all my colors and lower the opacity, but that only does so much
