what is kinktober?

kinktober is an event many smut writers from different fandoms participate is. while there are no set rules, the main notion is to release fics consistently throughout the month of october, each one featuring a different kink with a character they write for. it’s a great way to get in the habit of frequent posting, as well as write for certain things you may have not gotten the chance to write about beforehand. (this is just simply put in my words, keep in mind i’m not always right and unfortunately very stupid)

are you writing these beforehand?

yup! there’s definitely no way i’d be able to produce quality pieces every single day. i’m pretty meticulous with my fics, so i’ve been writing some of these since early-mid august.

why are you writing more for some characters, rather than others?

no big reason, just that i enjoy writing for certain characters more as I have a better grasp on them and or just find them more appealing. sorry if it bothers you!

are you taking requests for kinktober?

the answer for now is no, however, it’s not to say that i may scratch an idea and ask for some opinions/requests.

what are some possible issues that might occur during this event?

late posting, grammatical errors, and short fics. i’ll try my hardest to perfect my writing and get it out on time, but life happens and it may get in the way of my posting or performance. please be understanding of this!

how will i know when you post?

ask to be added to the taglist. if you’ve never done so before, i’ll give you the whole spiel: press the message icon in the top right corner, select the “ask” option, and make sure to ask off of anon to be added to the taglist so i know who you are! make sure not to privately message me, i will overlook it

Thank you to everyone who interacts with this! I wanted to add here that this was a really stressful time for me, I did my best to write everything in advance for you all so that I wasn’t missing days and falling behind. This is part of the reason I’ve been on hiatus with a lot of things! (I’m hoping to be back to regular writing by mid November since I’d like a break). I’ve been stressed, angry, upset, a lot of tears have been shed because this was a lot of pressure for me! I wanted to do my best to make it perfect since it’s my first Kinktober and felt a certain pressure of not wanting to let anyone down.
