Dream journal entry from October 20th, 2022:
(Left) Joongi Han is fighting a giant crab / lobster hybrid monster in a sea cave. Note that my art style is described more or less if Total Drama, Clone High, and Steven Universe were made between the 1960s and the 1990s. So, if the crab / lobster hybrid monster looks familiar, this is why. I also threw in a Playstation triangle button prompt for the fun of it.
(Right) Koichi Adachi announces that an airport's sparkling water machine (resembling a mix of a water cooler and a giant version of one of those Sodastream machines) is leaking after Goldy and Saeko (both not pictured) accidentally bump into it.
In honor of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth being released tomorrow, here's the very first dream entry of me playing Yakuza 8, dated July 29th, 2021:
(Left) The opening cutscene of this dream version of Infnite Wealth consists of Ichiban, Nanba, Han, and Zhao playing a four-player version of Connect Four at a restaurant.
(Right) Meanwhile, Adachi accidentally crashes his personal airplane after being hit by a mysterious fireball in the sky. Thankfully he's unharmed, but had to call someone to request a ride to that same restaurant the other guys are in.
I don't remember if someone on here had posted this already, but has anyone else come across an Adachi and Nanba version of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's main menu screen? I have earlier on today. And no, this is not modded.
In honor of this year's Super Bowl, here's the Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth guys as their linebacker jobs making an entrance in style.
Ever since Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth came out, my cat comes running into the living room and sits down right in front of me upon hearing the PS5 starting up. He would stare at the TV for a minute; hoping some fish, squirrels, birds, or anything remotely resembling a snake or a piece of string would come on. He would often see the last one: the dragon forming the infinity symbol in Infinite Wealth's title card. Occasionally he might even attack said dragon on the screen. Then he would still stare at the TV for another minute, hoping any of the aforementioned animals would come on.
Sometimes he would even jump up onto the TV stand and block our way. Especially if I'm on Dondoko Island and Ichiban is catching fish (both barehanded and with the harpoon). Once again, my cat would attack the fish on screen.
Today was my lucky day to capture both positions my cat gets in, except both times I was on the game's pause menu.
From a Yakuza: Like a Dragon screenshot I took a year ago, the party once again had their soccer / football game interrupted by a bunch of enemies. This time, their game took place at night.
At that point, we had the PS4 swapped out with the PS5 in our living room. Since that game didn't have a PS4 data transfer feature, I had to start all the way from the beginning. The PS4 we previously had in the living room is now in my bedroom as of this writing.
I've been messing around with trying to score a goal in the soccer field, now that I found out it's easier to kick the ball around in Infinite Wealth than it was in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The ball also went out of bounds at one point:
The ball eventually got destroyed by Kiryu while fighting off a bunch of thugs loitering around the stadium.
Bonus Zhao being upset for some reason when I did finally score a goal:
I don't know how to caption this, other than the fact the bench at the trolley stop seen in the picture suddenly went flying after one of the guys ran into it.
Update: My cat still does this. Only now he stays seated in front of me until he sees the dragon forming the infinity symbol, then walks away and returns to what he was doing before. He'll stay seated if I head over to the PS5's media library or the Share Factory Studio to review some screencaps before playing Infinite Wealth.

Dream journal entry from May 9th, 2024: Ichiban and his team get invited to a pool party that was taking place at Queen's Resort. Out of everyone in the team; only Ichiban, Nanba, Adachi, Zhao, and Eric decided to go there.
Parts of this dream were easy enough to recreate within the game (minus some of the party decorations that were in the original dream version, sadly):
Following the last two pictures came a scene where everyone was dancing in the pool and not just the Sujimon from the game. Once a karaoke machine is set up, Eric actually goes up and sings a song... which happens to be a song Adachi was singing earlier on before the party began. (The song in question is just one my dreaming mind made up; nothing from the game or a real-life pop song.)
Bonus shot from during a rainstorm in the actual game (which was not going to stop the party):
Too much roughhousing in the sand...
The guys looking at the artworks on display near the Bluebird Gallery.
Bonus picture with an NPC photobombing them:
