• he is purely an ass man, groping at the ass, hips and thighs during sex. the bigger, the better. he has absolutely no negative views on the thickness a woman's body harbors in general, as long as he has something he can hold while pounding them senseless, those fingers will practically mold into the flesh.

• eye contact is a must for him. it is so intimate. hers may simply be the darkest shade of brown to where the pupil is unseen, but to him, that only means that they are able to reflect so much more.

• i like to think that the more relaxed alucard is, the more prominent the vibration and volume from his purr becomes. imagine walking inside the basement to see him napping within his throne and all you hear are the echos of his loud ass purr throughout the empty space. that's probably what luke heard 0.3 seconds before rudely smashing his door in ova 2.

• alu also purrs in enjoyment of when blood, killing or a worthy opponent is involved, of course. one is probably unable to hear it over the sounds of bullets being fired, people screaming, chaos ensuing, but the second all of that dies down, his purr is all that's left to hear lmao. i love to think that this exact scenario happened during and after all of his kills at the hotel in ova 3. all of the horrific and twisted up corpses everywhere, but then there's just . . cute kitten noises in the corner. definitely brightens the mood LMAO.

Seras Victoria

• this girl is most likely always purring. she is so bubbly.

• whenever she receives praise from either alucard, integra, or walter, there she is, purring. she becomes overly joyful. pats on the head will without a doubt intensify the volume of it.

Luke Valentine

• luke is able to purr, but these are on rare occasions, since jan is aggravating the shit out of him 24/7.

Jan Valentine

• jan's purrs are absolutely obnoxiously loud, as loud as his foul mouth, but he can't help it. he's most likely always content because he refuses to give a fuck about anything that goes wrong in his undead life. ( hc created with @namelesscoward1 just yesterday PFF )

• luke has thrown a book at his head for purring so loudly. he missed, but he still got his point across. "would you keep it down?! i can't hear myself think with all of your racket!"

• jan becomes ridiculously excited at the mere thought of death and guns. during previous millennium missions with his brother, his purr was noisy enough to completely give away their hideout position.

Was watching hellsing ultimate for the first time the other day, and in almost every scene, Alucard's hair changes length or sides like what the heck is wrong with his head lol

alu's hair honestly has a mind of its own and i like to think he never notices or does but doesn't care enough lmao. you'll also notice that it tends to grow when he is in the midst of deep emotions in some scenes; primarily anger or sadness, and that it also of course grows whenever he is releasing vampiric power. it reminds me so much of kayako saeki from the grudge franchise.

keep in mind that his hair was down past his ass during his time as a human prince! ( imagine all the servants that got to wash and groom those locks everyday. 😩 ) vladcard is his true form, so its actual length is long as hell. he possibly found it tiring to constantly keep up with or always getting everywhere, which is why we see the shortened length in his standard form—something else i like to think about and is hilarious to me.

i've came across some fanarts where his hair is illustrated in a half-down-half-up style ( similiar to vikings ) or braided! pretty cool to see!

Hello! So you do you know that scene in episode 3 where Alucard kills all of the soldiers at the hotel? The final soldier that shot himself out of fear was a really powerful scene to me but could I ask what made Alucard so angry about it? If it isn't taking up to much of your time!

MENTIONS OF SUICIDE ‼️

i do agree that it's a very powerful moment. i actually have two viewpoints on alucard's transfer in disposition during this scene; the most common one being that, of course, he became livid from the fact the soldier took a completely cowardice way out of the battle.

as you know what comes right after this occurs, he proceeds to yell at seras and lecture her on the essence and reality of war, and soon after that, states, "come along now, seras. no time to be a coward." i imagine he's, without a doubt, also referring to the soldier that took his own life moments earlier, including seras' small burst of defiance and trying to reason against his orders, trying to reason against continuing to fight. i can do an entire discussion on that scene as well but we'll save that for a different time because if i do it now, i will start to go off topic! 😭

my second viewpoint on the reason behind his anger also stems from the creator of this entire franchise; the hentai king himself, kouta hirano.

i once read somewhere that when he was asked what inspired him to create alucard's character, he replied simply with "jealousy."

if you look deeper into alucard's mentality, it's mentioned how fascinated he is by the cycle of human life, because he himself has never gotten to experience a naturally-caused death during his time as a prince. he never got to grow old, he was only 45 when executed. he has respect for humans who evolve and strive within their lives, and respect the elders especially, merely because they are able to prevail through an olden age. and though he may have respect, that respect and fascination is not untouched by envy. he is envious of humans and always will be, because he will always have one regret to burden his shoulders for the rest of his days.

and he envies them not only because they are able to live, but that they are able to die.

i'm not going to say that alucard is a majorly suicidal character. though he is tired of walking the earth, he carries his pride on his shoulders like a king. he will not accept death unless it is done by the hands of a human being, nor does he let them win without a fight til the end.

alucard realized centuries ago that he made the mistake of choosing immortality and becoming what he is, and as i stated, he's grown weary of his existence. one bullet to the head was all that was needed for that soldier to end himself before alucard could get to him. the reason he became furious was simply because the man could die, and so easily, too. and because he himself can't, that is why alucard was also jealous in that scene.

he knew how much you enjoyed . . . what was it called? hop-hip? hoppity? hippo? whatever you informed him it was, it was loud and irritating, and he could only carry so much patience. he wouldn't be as upset if it was classical music, but what you were listening to consisted of terrible vibrations, conjuring him a headache.

he phased through another wall and was in front of your bedroom door in mere seconds, the music even louder now. he hissed and growled when his sensitive ears pounded, and without any warning, elegantly went through the entryway.

"(y/n). what have i told you about emplacing your dreadful tunes at such ungodly hours during the day? it's a mi-"

he froze immediately, brows furrowed into his temple and lips pulled into a tight line. it appeared that you couldn't hear him over all the obnoxious sounds as you didn't turn to look at him not once, but you most certainly grabbed his attention.

your back arched at every roll of your hips, your ass bouncing low and coming back up in slow gyrations that he didn't even know humans were capable of, scantily cladding a garment of some sort that rose even higher than the skirt of his servant's uniform. perhaps he would have proceeded to be in a trance even longer if it weren't for those insensate speakers being a problem.

"integra said that i could rehearse while she was gone. i have a really important gig coming up this weekend. you know that."

he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his coat and began walking towards her. "did you ever think of why she only let you play it in her absence?"

"because it's loud?"

"precisely." he removes a hand from his pocket to then pluck its fingers at the radio's volume crank, turning the music down even lower than it already was. "because of you, my head feels as if it's been lying underneath a thousand suns."

"want me to kiss it better?" you chuckled. his lips stretch into a grin and there is a slight brightness to his eyes. you knew he was a sucker for your lips, and often times quite literally. he would never pass up the chance to receive a kiss from you, nor gift some of his own.

your hands reach up to enfold around his face as he simultaneously leans his tall figure in towards you. your lips pucker and are placed softly against the center of his head, and you could feel him relax. you place a few more kisses for good measure before pulling back and releasing him.

then don't, you wanted to say, but kept your mouth closed, and only hoped he hadn't read your thoughts in that moment, or you were really going to be in for it.

"you aren't sly. i heard you." he spoke, ripping your hope in two, but to your surprise, he continued his path to your door without ever looking back. "you are lucky that i'm too exhausted to bicker, but just know to watch your desirable backside when i awaken, my queen."

and with that, his body burgeons into a single shadow, protruding to the outside of your room. you can hear his footsteps begin to faint down the hall, and your cheeks flare pink at his implication of words, shaking your head and turning your attention back to your previous deeds.

"can't even knock. no manners whatsoever."

as odd and foreign as it was to him, that dance you were doing also intrigued him. he smirked to himself on his way back to the basement. perhaps one day he'll request you do it for his eyes and his eyes only.

integra is a woman who will always put needs first before wants. she has also been shown to be the first person of the hellsing bloodline to genuinely care for alucard, so she wouldn't put him through this unless it was absolutely necessary.

choosing to kill his s/o or not kill his s/o, the situation can fit him perfectly either way, but since you happen to love angst, i'm gonna lean more to the side of him killing his partner. plus, it adds onto the fact of alucard's character overall always feeling and being alone in the end, specifically when it comes down to love.

he would want to kill his partner in a fast and painless death, like putting a gun to his partner's head or snapping their neck. while simply drinking and draining his s/o of blood is morbidly beautiful in the morals of a vampire, it seems too slow and sensual for a situation like this.

alucard has disobeyed integra a couple of times if you consider both the original anime and the ova, and in one of them he had no other choice but to. him disobeying her is on very rare occasions, of course, because she would whoop his ass if he did lmao. but with this particular scenario, if he chose to disobey killing his partner, sorrowfully saying something along the lines of "i can't do it. i cannot bring myself to end them." then i can also see integra understanding why he can't. she'd take the matter into her own hands, grabbing a gun and killing them herself, and not angrily either, but while being filled with so much pain from having to take away something beloved from her servant. she would apologize to him as well after a moment of silence to pay respects in regards of their existence, and in regards of what he had to witness.

now, if he chose to obey integra and kill his partner on his own, then i envision him lifting one of his guns to their head with them begging for their life and trying to reason with him through the words "i love you!" over and over. he's rarely ever heard those words in his life and it's killing him on the inside, causing his finger to hesitate on that trigger, but as soon as he hears integra's"now, alucard! that is an order!" then he will look them in the eyes one final time, whispering, "forgive me . . ." right before the gun has been fired. i can also see him dropping to his knees after it hits him what he's done, how he lost what he had, and integra slowly walking over to him and placing a hand on his shoulder just to give him reassurance that there was someone there. she would give him a break from missions or interactions for a few weeks afterwards in order to let him grieve.

i'm unsure of what the scenario would be to where he would be ordered to kill his love, but if alucard was quick to battle walter without any hesitation when he turned his back on the organization, then it's also safe to say he would follow integra's orders in this situation, too. walter was someone alucard cared for as well, believe it or not. he watched him grow from a child into an old man, and from that, we can only assume that they spent time together and grew close. they probably saw each other as brothers. ( i always used to think they were brothers when i was little lmao )

i think some people really do, at times, underestimate his loyalty to the hellsing organization. his battle with walter, in my opinion, was done to show the audience; it doesn't matter who you are to alucard, whether you be his companion, lover, enemy, etc, if you do anything that puts the organization in turmoil, then he will do anything to put you to rest, especially if it's an order given from integra.

just to set you in on some background! being a virgin had so much more meaning back during the times when he was human. the real, historical vlad drăculea literally used to demand that women who lost theirs before marriage suffer impalement, so it's pretty precise how significant one's virginity was to him! 😭 bram stoker of course based his dracula novel on some of the history of vlad iii, so this is probably why the whole 'vampires loving virgins' became a thing. hirano based his version of dracula on both the real vlad and the novel, so this also explains why maintaining your virginity in the hellsing universe is important, and why deflowered humans turn into ghouls. it's a very clever reference imo!

not to mention, it's all just a bunch of religious nature—like where the bible says that you can only participate in sex after marriage, and ancient christianity put virgins on such high pedestals because it was viewed as being pure. of course, vampires are seen as demonic beasts, so that is also where their obsession with virgins stem from—they want to taint their innocence; your typical demon vs. god / good vs. evil trope. but you'll find that alucard is quite far from demonic or evil despite the things he's done. you have to look deep, but there is a layer to him that doesn't make him so much the monster that he thinks he is. he cries, has nightmares, cares for people even if only a few and harbors regrets. monsters don't have, feel or do any of those things.

he'd want his partner's first time to be extremely beautiful and eventful. keep in mind that he was sexually assaulted once; he wouldn't wish what he went through on anyone, so he'd want them to also enjoy their first time because he himself did not get the chance to. if they want him to be gentle, he will. if they request he roughen it up, you bet he will. it's their virginity. he's not going to put himself first during a moment in one's life where he was taught had value. he adores them and wants to show them just how much he does. i have always viewed him as an 'actions speak louder than words' kind of man. perhaps it is rare that he'll say "i love you" but he will damn sure show it.

he'll give you a choice if you want to become a creature of the night or not before he begins, hovering his lips over your fluttering pulse. he'll leave a few kisses against it, just for you to know where his bite shall implant lest you desire vampirism. immortality, in his eyes, is only to be given to those who are deserving—and to him, you deserved his kingdom and more.

say yes, and he will ask if you are sure in your decision one final time. have confidence in your answer and look him in the eyes so he knows for certain that you're willing to place your hand in his for the rest of your life. for eternity. say yes again, and you will feel his hand gently craning your chin to the side for the exposure of your neck. "it's going to hurt at first, my queen, but you wouldn't have come this far if you were unfit of bearing the brunt of a little pain, now, would you?"

if you choose no and wish to remain within the womb of humanity, he will most definitely respect your decision; not only out of love, but because you chose to stay the same. that's something he didn't do in his past, so he admires that. he will be more protective of you, though, since you did not choose to be a vampire and are more vulnerable in comparison.

even though i was bawling my eyes out like a toddler, i would give anything to experience watching this scene for the first time again. absolutely anything. it's even funnier because sometimes if im rewatching the entire ova for the 917381939239th time, i will skip over this just to avoid tears lmao. im so emotionally struck every single time.

integra is a woman of steel, an absolutely tough shell to crack. we never see her break often, and when she is put into a situation where most would cower away or shit themselves, she is the one who keeps her head all the way up. discovering walter's betrayal caught her off guard for a few moments, of course, but she sure went right back to business. she put her emotions to the side, silenced whatever cherish or sympathy she had left for him and quickly declared him an enemy of england.

that is why the one time she really does break, her panicked "don't leave me!" got to me more than any other heartbreaking event in the ova.

and his expression after she yells this, the mere moment of shock that captivates his face, because it is then that he realizes that there was someone who actually cared for him, who wanted him to be there, and he hadn't noticed that at all until his time was up and it was too late. her cry for help almost sounded as if she was that little girl all over again, running away from her uncle and into his quarters. and also notice that here, his face is so different. he almost looks angelic, as ironic as that is to say.

this scene combined with the thirty year timeskip of his return was really beautifully done in regards of their relationship, in my opinion.

it makes me melt even more to think about the fact; it took him 30 years to kill all 3 million+ of the souls that rested within him. he fought and fought until there was none but one left, and no matter how long it took him, he was determined to return home to his countess. he fought for her. and she was the first person he intended on visiting upon his arrival.
