SWAY —੭ sunoo drabble

“i thought you wanted to dance, not sway.”

the frost from the cold tile beneath you both was warded off with his fluffy socks and your work shoes.

you slowly rocked your body weight from side to side as guided by sunoo.

your boyfriend’s hands were lazily placed around your middle as your own played with the hair behind his neck. there was still sleep in his playful eyes, and his dark chocolate locs looked like antennae - as if he was trying to tune into the radio.

it was his idea in the first place, to dance before you had to leave for work, but now he appeared to long for a bed.

“yes, but, we both know you’re a terrible dancer.”

“hey! yes i am! i just haven’t had anything to drink.” you snicker, whacking his chest hard enough for his droopy eyes to turn attentive.

“exactly, and you’re not drinking at 5:30 in the morning.” he brings you closer and rests his head on top of yours, “i still don’t understand why you choose to get up this early every morning.”

“i have to. morning traffic is the worst.”

his nods cause your head to move as well and you stifle a laugh. you look up at him and he looks down at you, locking you both in a staring battle of who can look more tired.

“go to back to sleep sunoo, i’ll see you tonight.” you smile and kiss him softly before letting go. he pouts but nod. sunoo doesn’t leave his spot until he hears the door close.

sunoo slumps his way to the bedroom and cuddles in under the duvet, before falling asleep and dreaming of nothing. (except you).
