Dr. Zayne's Apartment
So, I know there isn't much shown of Zayne's apartment in Love and Deepspace as of yet, but there are a couple snippets shown that interest me!

OKAY, SO
we know Zayne is a simple guy
let's be honest, he more than likely lives in the office than his actual residence
so I think his minimalism reflects that a bit. In his office we can see work piles put in order but it still looks more lived in
it definitely does now that you go in there and nap on the couch (he always makes sure there is a blanket and a pillow)
but his actual apartment is very clean, sterile, honestly
he knows how to decorate, he just doesn't
he's a doctor...the man has $$$, so you know he has some very expenive items in his apartment
he prefers to spend time at your place because he finds it homey, but on the occasion you guys do spend time at his place, he moves things around
he won't admit it, but when he is anticipating your arrival, he does more around the place
it's no longer just work , sleep, and repeat
he gets out the wine glasses he bought 2 years ago and hasn't used
he cooks that recipe he's had tabbed for months
he lays a blanket for when you inevitably get cold
Zayne is the type to really make an effort to make you comfortable
He knows it's not your home (yet *wink*), but he wants to create a comforting environment
to him, his apartment is a place that he goes when he's not at work
to you, it's a home away from home
and he wants it to be that way
he'll decorate for the holidays if you say his place is too dreary
he'll take your opinion into account if you say he should get flowers to liven up the dining area
he definitely has plants, but he's more fond of Monsteras and and Jasmine, but if you say peonies would be a nice addition, he's running to the florist immediately
his place is very high class and fancy due to his financial situation, but he always wants it to be a place you feel like coming to
he wants it to be a space where you know that you can use the spare key he gave you and come in to crash after a mission
sleep on the couch or the bed, eat the food he's prepared - just take care of yourself
even if that means coming into his space to feel safe enough to do so
