I know you are waiting for Taehyung’s full album to be released before giving your thoughts but I hope you don’t mind if I give my thoughts. I have panic disorder and get horrible panic attacks out of nowhere and one thing that constantly can get me out of them is asmr (I know it’s not for everyone) and Taehyung’s voice has that asmr vibe to it, for me at least. Like I legit started tearing up the first time I heard Love Me Again because his voice/tone is the type that can pull me out of a panic attack and it’s rare for me to find that. I know people were/are expecting something grandiose along the lines of SMF2 or they find his voice languid but I, personally, find it calming and soothing.

I've never heard Tae's voice described as asmr before lol, but it's nice you like his songs and that they have that effect on you.

LMA and Rainy Days just sound like nice lofi tracks to me. I get more of a kick from NewJeans' songs than from anything Tae has put out so far. The songs feel too safe for my tastes, but for you it's calming and soothing so I assume that's what Tae was trying to go for and you're his target audience. It's lovely his songs are very helpful to you. I'm still waiting for the full thing to see if there's something on the album for people like me though. Fingers crossed. :)

I love that the albums are basically “awwww cute postal boxes!” and then “ALL GLORY TO YEONTAN”.

By which I mean please give me all the Tannie content, I love that little fluffball 💜
