i'm not gonna lie, i wish more writers on here would make use of the cut-off option things for long texts. i would rather not have to scroll for minutes just to move on from a post.
it may just be me and that's fine. but sometimes it is inconvenient and annoying.

but also, i kind of mean this to be more like a rant because i totally tried to scroll past a ch for 3 minutes that was a huge trigger warning that didn't have any tags and was about rape and abuse on an mc by a bts member. so please please please learn to tag fic. 🙏🏻 😭

America Mate (8) - Time to Tell the Family Pack

“Are you serious? You agreed to be our playmate?” Soekjin inquires, stepping up next to Yoongi.
Standing up, you look at the two hybrids with a smile. “Yes,” you say, glancing over at Namjoon and Jungkook. “I may not be a normal playmate, and this may not be a normal situation, but I am willing to try to make it work.”
At your words, the pack erupts into exclamations of joy, shock, and happiness. The room is flooded with happy scents and a warm abundance of vanilla.
Their reactions also make you smile, which only becomes wider when you become a Yoongi and Jungkook sandwich. Soon follows Seokjin, then Taehyung and Hoseok, and lastly comes Jimin and Namjoon. You have fully been engulfed in a pack pile.
While it is all good and dandy, they won’t let go. Logically, you understand that they are just finding a way to claim you as their playmate and temporary pack member. The attention is a little unnerving.
“Well, this is an endearing sight to see, Bangtan. I won’t disrupt too much. I just wanted to let you all know that I have sent over the signed contract. Miss Y/n only needs to attend a health screening appointment and clear her office desk by the end of the week. Everything should be good,” Manager Sejin says from the hallway.
“I will let myself out. Remember you have a schedule tomorrow which Yoongi is excused from to assist her, but the rest of you need sleep. It's getting late.”
With that, you find yourself still in the middle of a very warm cluster of hybrid men. As thrilled as most Army would be, it is too much too soon for you.
“Umm, guys. Can we maybe take a step back?” you ask the group, resulting in unpleasant grumbles all around.
“No, like, really. I need air, or space, or breathing room.” with still no response, you raise your voice, “I need out!”
You are now batting and pushing for freedom while raising your voice, breaking the boys out of whatever headspace they had gone into. The boys move to sit or stand around the living room, now feeling mildly awkward as you are feeling disgruntled and overwhelmed.
Once you can wiggle out of them, move to the farthest corner near the backyard doors, take a few breaths, and let the warm vanilla scent settle you.
Man, you need to find out what kind of cleaner or candle they use.
The boys look at each other and have silent conversations with their eyes and hands about what should happen next since they realize they have overstepped yet again.
At this most inopportune time, your stomach decides to roar like a ravenous dragon. Looking at your phone, you realize you ate last at the lunch meeting with Manager Sejin.
“It seems that my promise to keep you eating well and happy starts right away,” Seokjin says with a slight chuckle as he walks up next to you.
He hands you his phone with the Doordash app open. “Here you go, dear. Dinner is on me. Pick any place you like and order whatever you want. I think the rest of us should go unpack enough to sleep.”
The boys nod and murmur in agreement, moving to their rooms. Namjoon mentions something about no seafood, and Taehyung asks for nothing spicy.
“Oh… Thank you, Mr. Kim,” you smile while looking through the app, only to stop when a hand is placed on your arm.
“You are with us now. Please use our names or even nicknames. I hope you feel comfortable and allow us to use yours as well,” Seokjin mentions before heading upstairs.
“Names or nicknames. Got it – Jin.”
Before going down the hall, he smiles at you one last time, “When you are done ordering for everyone, just send it out.”
After giving him a thumbs up, you murmur to yourself, “Order for everyone… no, what was it again? Oy… I hardly know what I want most of the time, much less for seven Korean men.

Writing Update as of 5/29/24
Wow! Okay, like, WOW! Chapter 8 has 11,456 words and is available on Patreon for a paid member's early release benefit!
Chapter 9 is in the works and currently has 6,864 words. It looks like another long one is coming. I am also breaking the YA wall and taking American Mate into Mature/MDNI reading land!😶
There is also currently a poll for members on Patreon, which will impact how the story progresses!
Chapter 7 of Breaking and Entering totaled 3,639 words and has been available to paid members since May 28th.
A membership poll about Chapters 8,9,10 is also available to paid members.
I am excited to see where the poll takes the story because who lets us into their side of the story will determine a lot of what you, as the ready, will find out.
I want to thank you all for being patient with me. Writing with a broken ankle while still trying to take my youngest child to school and my oldest (special needs) child to their appointments has not been easy.

Hello @sunshinecallie!! Thank you for checking in on me. Things have been kind of everywhere with the family member passing away, the broken foot, and other things.
American Mate: Chapter 8 will be posted a little later this morning. I am very excited to see how it will be received by all of my dear readers. I am already working on Chapter 9, which is currently counting at over 8k words.
Breaking and Entering: Chapter 8 was waiting for a Patreon Membership poll to be completed before I could start writing it. So that will start soon.
I am also working on a One-Shot, which may end up being a Mini-Series, which was requested of me by a Patreon Membership holder for an Ateez San x Plus sized y/n. That is currently at over 5k words.

American Mate (9) - Shadows of the Past (M)

However, we do see some unexpected Pack dynamics and some spicy dynamics as well. This will be a Mature Chapter!

“Genevie Rose Elisey.” You growl out her name, step forward, and pull out of Yoongi’s tail. All eyes snap to you—well, all eyes except the little omega, who drops her eyes and scrunches her nose at the twist of your scent.
You stalk forward and grip the back of her neck as if she were a kitten, scruffing her. Your scent has gone from sweet pea to something akin to lemons, almost acidic. The change in scent alerts your pack that you are not playing around.
However, the scent and display of Dominance causes a mix of reactions from the Alphas. Everyone here would be remiss in not recognizing who is currently in charge, and that does something to them.
Namjoon and the rest have seen you upset, but this… this is something else. While he is concerned for the Omega, not knowing what she had done to result in this type of reaction from you, he cannot pull his eyes away from how you hold yourself. It’s like you are taller and more assertive.
Yoongi’s Alpha slams to the forefront when he sees you scruff the Omega. The feline mothering behaviors pull deeply at the primal aspect of the jaguar hybrid. His mind runs with thoughts of you scruffing cubs, but not just any cubs, his cubs. Shaking his head, Yoongi does his best to clear his mind and stay in the present; you are not his—yet.
Jimin is just lost. He has spent the least amount of time with you out of the pack. He has mostly been observing you and your interactions with his already-bonded mates. This Dominant, in-charge side of you is new and instinctively intriguing.

Stirring from your sleep because of a phone ringing, you look around groggily. Momentarily forgetting where you are, you sit up quickly, and that is when you see– the dress.
The night before comes flooding back to you. It starts with the letters and conversations, the outfit and pampering, and ends with his smiles and warmth.
It was a date you will never forget. The only problem is… it wasn’t a date.
Your heart wants to soar, but you must remind yourself it’s just a job.
Remembering that Jin had made it clear that it wasn’t something he would do for a fan. Even though he said you were special, you couldn’t believe it.
Bangtan Pack would do this for any playmate.

Oh shit! That’s right, the phone. Scrambling over your pillow wall, you find your plugged-in phone and answer it.
“Hello, hello! Sorry, this is Y/n. Who is this?” you ask as you try to untangle yourself from your blanket fort. It isn’t easy with a broken hand.
“Hey Y/n, it’s Derek! Umm, did I wake you up?”
“Oh hey, ah yeah, and now I am wrapped in my blankets. I'm going to put you on speakerphone so I can untangle,” you growl in frustration, placing the phone near your head while you wrestle your way out.
“Did you just growl? You know what, never mind. You are gonna have to hurry.” Derek says with a hint of amusement in his voice.
“Yes, I did growl,” huff “These damn blankets. Wait… Why?” I huffed, finally freeing one leg, “I don’t have any plans for today.”
“Well, now you do, and you have about two hours to be at PMS to go over the final contract.”
“No way… what? Two hours! But I thought we were going to sign it tomorrow or Monday. Why now? Did they get everything back in time?” I say, pushing the blankets down my leg and wiggling backward.
Thud.
Groan
“Y/n! What was that?” calls Derek, who hears you fall while on speakerphone because of his hybrid hearing.
“Ah… I slid off the bed,” I said with a slight giggle. Standing up, I lean over my phone. “The duvet is made of satin, so it's slippery, and I got a little bit too close to the edge.”
A rapid knock on your door startles you as you hear your name called from the other side: “Y/n, are you okay? What happened? Princess? Princess!”

Never Ending Case is a Stray Kids Alien AU and is currently for paid membership holders only!
I have never written an Alien AU before.
Judging from the work it took to write Chapter 1—Time to Step In, which is only 3,442 words in length, it's going to remain paid members only for a while.
I may open ONLY Chapter 1 to the public and cross-post it to give you a taste of whether you want to purchase a paid membership.
It will be an Alien, mature, smutty story with multiples with combos of m/m, f/m, m/f/m, etc.
To warn you, there is a possibility of tentacles, but I haven't gotten that far.
If the paid membership holders show a positive interest, I will work on the Title Banner and Page Breaks to make it look more official.
