Project: Period piece set in the 1970s punk music scene. Luke’s Arena Homme photoshoot has such perfect vibes IYKYK

Luke and Ariana Debose (let’s go musical theater Luke!!!!)

Project: Musical Dramedy where Luke gets to put his dance training to use

Luke and Susan Wokoma (I wanted her in the Bridgerton universe SO bad, if she won’t come to Bridgerton, I want Bridgerton to go to her!)

Project: Modern romantic comedy, I could see them being neighbors or coworkers in London

Luke Newton and Bel Powley (Bel is underrated as an actress but kills everything I’ve ever seen her in. One of my favorites, and effortlessly charming on screen)

Project: Drama set in the distant past. Bel is great in period pieces and I want Luke to get another shot at one. Maybe the 1920s? Or late Victorian? And definitely tragic. These two can CRY.

Luke Newton and Lashana Lynch (the crush I have on BOTH. They’d just make a hot on-screen couple)

Project: Action/thriller, possibly with a sci-fi fantasy element

I’d watch him in whatever he does next, but see how he just looks good next to anybody???

Project: Modern romantic drama, something glamorous, chic, and sexy OR something light and fun because they’re both so cute. But they both are such talented actors I’d want to see them in something that really lets them go for it.

Project: Something dark and tragic. They’re both pretty criers. Based on these photos I’m making up a thriller where two actors are on a project and one gets way too into method acting, and takes their role to far and starts terrorizing their costar.

Luke and Crystal Clarke (I watched Sanditon for HER)

Project: They’re both period piece pretty, so I’d love to put them in something in the past. Also I could see them in a fantasy setting where she’s a Princess and he really has to win her over.

Luke and Chinenye Ezeudu (Sex Education fumbled the friends to lovers potential she had with Jackson it’s time to pair her up with the FtoL KING)

Project: Modern romance, something steamy. I get bad boy/good girl vibes with this pairing, idk.

Luke and Ayo Edebiri (the people’s Princess)

Project: It was suggested that he just guest stars on the Bear, as a love interest for Sydney. I definitely think they could pull off one of those dialogue heavy romance movies where it’s just two people getting to know each other, meandering around a beautiful city and it happens mostly in real time, with an awkward but endearing first date vibe.

Luke and Zendaya

Project: Suggested project was a spy movie but I see them as enemies idk. Like they’d be in the same project together but they’re not falling in love, they’re truly fighting. Whatever it is would be sleek and aesthetic though.

Luke and Saorise Ronan

Project: I want something ethereal and whimsical, but also something that rips my heart out. Like they are in love but can never be together, and also it doesn’t take place in reality. Like one of the rare romantic Black Mirror Episodes or something like The Lobster.

Luke and Stephanie Hsu (idk I think they’d look cute together)

Project: An indie movie or a quirky musical

Luke and Emma Watson (apparently she’s a fan??? Hermione being a friends to lovers stan just feels right lol)

Project: Gonna be honest, ideally I’d cast them as siblings. If I had to pick a romance for them I’m doing rich girl poor boy romance, and it’s set in the 70s. I’m thinking a reverse My Fair Lady. She’s a PHD candidate at a posh university studying linguistics looking to prove her thesis and he’s a broke maintenance guy/ groundskeeper’s son at the school looking to improve himself but with no way to afford the education he lets himself be her research subject. The twist on the trope is that she’s not stiff or snooty or class conscious, but he is.

As usual, he looks good with everyone.

For a solid four or five years there, the most predominant dream I would experience would be getting jumped and stabbed. It would always be at night, in the dark, and I would be walking down a sidewalk in a park or along a boardwalk and as I’d pass under an Exorcist-like street lamp, someone would jump out of the abyss and stab me in the ribs. Or I’d notice I was being followed and then another flanked me and I realized I was trapped, and they meant me grave harm. Or being chased through a house with a kid I’d help escape but got pinned in on the deck—and stabbed.
