"It's not fair to expect me to learn every sexuality or gender identity" tbh I don't. I expect you to call people by what they want to be called. You don't have to understand it and you don't have to learn every single one as long as you're respectful about it most people won't give a fuck. And if they do they might just be an asshole.

"respect is earned" yeah of course but I don't mean respect them as being an authority figure I mean basic human decency. Treat them like a person kind of respect.
