SO I WAS WATCHING THE LAST EPISODE OF THE OWL HOUSE AND IT ENDS WITH THEM SAYING BYEE TO US THE VIEWERS AND NOW IM SOBBING CAUSE I KNOW UNLESS GOD GRACES THE PERSON WHO CANCELED THE SHOW WITH SOME BRAINS WE WONT GET MORE OF THIS WHOLESOME SHIT AND I WANNA SCREAM LAUGH AND SOB HYSTERICALLY UNTIL MY HEART POUNDS BECAUSE OF IT

Whenever Lilith has a nightmare, she sobs in her sleep, makes her little annoyed sounds and sometimes calls out names depending on the dream. Every time she wakes up, she sees Hooty staring at her, prepared with a cup of tea, scaring her even after years of doing that.
Whenever Hooty has a nightmare, he makes loud noises that wake Lilith up. She pets his head and after S3 even talks to him to comfort him and then hugs him when he wakes up.
I definitely agree that Hooty gets nightmares about not being able to protect Lilith! They might've even started right after the Day of Unity when he was trapped in that abomination bubble and had to just watch helplessly as Lilith was captured and hurt by the draining spell, that must have been traumatic.
Yeah! Thankfully, Dana confirmed that due to an animation error, Lilith's sigil canonically disappeared. So she would be fine (at least physically) during the Draining spell, but despite that he'd feel so guilty. He still wouldn't be able to comfort her while everyone around was in pain and Lilith was going through the mental pain of thinking what was likely happening to Eda because of her.
