Lisa And The Killer Bunny... Damn - Tumblr Posts

dear god 4th

remember everyone!

if you’re ever pouring over a piece of media (be it art, music, writing, or media in any other form) and notice a suspicious detail added in that you’re unsure of whether if it was intentional or not, try to put yourself in the position of the creator and ask yourself:

how much thought would it have taken to think of adding this detail?

how much time and effort would it have taken to add this detail?

would the creator had to have sat down and intentionally add this detail in, or does the detail seem more like an accidental slip up?

listen, details aren’t just thrown in willy-nilly! it takes at least some brain power and effort to add these things in!

for example: picture a little girl walking down a sidewalk. nothing is of note in this scene, except for a bunny peeking out from behind a bush behind the girl. now, did the creator of this scene decide to sit down and add this bunny in intentionally, or accidentally put in a bunny and leave it in?

yeah, the answer is obvious: the bunny scampered in from the last scene and is now hiding from the fbi! of course.

jokes aside, if you ever hear a tune that has a section that sounds similar to something else, or a familiar item or symbol added into the background of an artwork or drawing, think of someone sitting down and adding these things in with the full intention of them being there. if that seems about right, then the detail is probably intentional!

so! summary: do question the creator’s intentions (with respect), and, as i’ve been repeating to myself every time i see a little detail that seems odd, say to yourself: “if it’s there, it’s intentional!”
