Redson - condescending at first. But they slowly adjust and are actually pretty good at helping you! Has a spare fidget in one of their pockets in case you ever need one. They’re the “translator” for other people whenever you’re trying to talk as fast as you’re thinking and mix some stuff up—you don’t know how they do it, but they understand you perfectly. If you need something hands-on to do or are just bored in general, they’ll have you lend a hand in their projects, or at the very least let you sit with them and talk about your latest hyperfixations while they work. The only time they’re going to really question your logic (if there is any) is if they pop into the kitchen for a midnight snack and find you just fully zoned out, no thoughts head empty. Don’t worry they’ll snap you out of it lol
MK - OH SAME BRO. You two operate on a routine that you collaborated on because otherwise it would literally just be chaos. He has a whole bin of fidget toys that he lets you borrow from at any time! You two sit together and probably get mesmerized by those slime videos or even just those sensory videos. The apartment is probably covered in sticky note reminders. His favorite thing is letting you infodump to him about what you’re interested in, and then he gets to rant to you as well. He mixes up words just as much as you do, and yet you both always understand what the other is saying.
Mei - is the reasonable one out of the two of you. She helps you remember what you need to do and stuff, and honestly she benefits from making you a routine since she’ll probably end up making one for herself too. Definitely buys you fidget toys from time to time and ends up finding ones that she likes too! She keeps track of your interests so she can talk about them with you! Also probably has a backpack leash for you(she already has one for MK, so honestly it’s only natural you get one too). Very sweet, just wants you to be happy in any capacity!
Macaque - he has a very, very loose understanding of what ADHD is and how people cope with it. He balances out your hyperactivity the best he can, and honestly how could you refuse when he talks so smoothly to you about maybe chilling out for a minute? He’s with you for the good days and the difficult days, especially when you’re super unmotivated to do anything. Loves all the cool creative ideas you come up with; he has you help him brainstorm for his plays. He definitely doesn’t mind staying up late with you when you’re hyper focused, but he also knows there’s a line he needs to draw for the two of you so you don’t wake up the next day feeling exhausted. He himself burns out a lot I think so he’d be very good at recognizing when you’re burning out too(along with helping you manage things in a way that you can prevent it)
Wukong - he gets it, to a degree! Having known MK for as long as he has, he knows the basics, however he is more than willing to sit down with you and get an understanding of what your experience is like! Runs with most of your ideas and impulses, unless of course you’re thinking too far ahead or even too quickly. Yes, taking a trip on his cloud to visit a zoo a few cities over sounds nice in theory, but hang on, let’s actually plan a proper trip. He has nothing to really do all day other than train with MK and take care of the monkey village, so he’s never gonna say no to you coming over and hanging out with him, doing your thing, etc. He probably has some trouble understanding you if you’re talking really fast, but he doesn’t get frustrated or upset. He just kindly asks you to repeat what you said but slower. He’s doing his best for you :]

MK - you have one brain cell between the two of you and neither of you can figure out who has it. He doesn’t mind at all that he gets to help save you if you get into trouble(he does mind how often you get into trouble, though. Seriously, how did you even manage to fall BY ACCIDENT DOWN INTO SPIDER QUEEN’S LAIR??) BUT the way you look at him with such adoration even though you’re caught up in this mess makes it all worth it.
Redson - They have no idea how you’re even alive. No matter, because they love the praise they get from you when they move you out of the way of one of the booby traps in their house. They have to come up with creative ways for you to remember which tiles are the bad ones without also giving it away to potential intruders. Whenever you’re ABOUT to do something dumb, it’s like a sixth sense, and they immediately find an excuse to leave whoever they’re talking with to get to you. If they honestly can’t be with you at that moment, they’ll probably send a Bull Clone to keep an eye on you.
Macaque - he keeps you close to him at ALL times if he can. No way are you gonna be able to just wander off, not on his watch! Finds your shenanigans funny at times, however if you could get seriously hurt he might have to intervene and have his clones just maneuver you around so you get the point. Still, he can’t stay mad at you for long, considering that you were just on your way to get him that boba tea he really likes.
SWK - you two are an enigma. A 100xImmortal monkey and a person who just. Narrowly avoids danger. To an alarming degree. You two are an unstoppable force honestly. He does his best to look out for you, especially if you’re just wandering around areas that he knows have demons in them. Sometimes he shapeshifts into animals so he can casually travel with you without having to disguise as a human, but other times he doesn’t mind doing it. The thing is, he has himbo energy, but he’s intelligent in truth. You on the other hand, are himbo in and out and ya know what? He loves that for you :]

MK - He would probably be a little concerned. He’s not one to notice ONE bad grade, however in a subject she’s shown interest in and succeeded thus far, then he might have to check in on her. He sits down with her, creating a very calm atmosphere(they don’t want to scare her) and asks her what’s been going on. Is someone picking on her? Is she not understanding something? No matter what, he makes it very clear that they’re not upset, they just wanna make sure she’s not burning out or anything. Very sweet, might encourage her to do some studying at home as well as school.
SWK - this is the same man who said AND I QUOTE “your disciple was born stupid” do you think he cares about grades?(/lh). He doesn’t put value on the reader based upon the scores she gets, he values her character and how she acts. Though if she is struggling with anything that is affecting that, then he will gently encourage her to do some self-care with him. Meditation, some healthy snacks, and a Power Nap or two. He would never be angry with her for a bad grade. “Try your best! Even if you do badly, you put in the effort!”
Macaque - Dad Mode engaged. Probably hangs her good grades up on his fridge or something, but then gets worried when she doesn’t want this particular test up there. Admittedly he’s a bit disappointed, but he doesn’t punish her. He puts time and effort into helping her make corrections for the assignment, he helps her study, and tries to help her balance out her mental health while he’s at it. An even amount of breaks in between work sessions, proper meals(I think he’s honestly not a bad cook!). Really nice about it.
Tang and Pigsy are a package deal - Aw what happened?? Do they need to have a chat with the teacher?? No, there won’t be any threats this time. Anyways, Pigsy would be the one to jump to conclusions—maybe she’s spending too much time playing games—but Tang would rationalize and calm him down. He’s an intelligent man, he’d probably love helping her with her school work. For any class, not just the ones she’s struggling with. Pigsy makes sure she’s eating properly and going to bed on time so she’s not throwing off her physical health. They celebrate all the small victories she has, they just want her to do her best!

You and your partners were an unlikely combination. A fire demon, a monkey kid, a half-spider, an immortal prince, and a zombie of a mayor…At least you couldn’t say that things weren’t interesting! Some of them, such as Mayor and Syntax or Redson and MK, were couples of their own who were glad to share with you. Nezha was along for the ride.
You did your best to have open and honest communication with all of them, especially if they all wanted to do different things. Such was the situation as of now.
Redson and MK invited you to come see a movie with them, and you agreed. However you had forgotten that you were going to have some lunch with Nezha. And of course, the Mayor wanted to make dinner for everyone tonight. It was all overlapping in the worst way possible, and tensions were mounting among the others as well.
You now sat on the couch in the Mayor's house, which was big enough that you all called it your central hub. The others were all in their own seats, with Redson on one side of you and Syntax on the other. Nezha and MK were on one of the loveseats, and the Mayor was standing near the coffee table. Their voices were all conflicting with one another. Your leg bounced rapidly as you felt your breaths become fast-paced and hard to keep up with.
“Guys…” you really didn’t want to deal with this right now. You had been excited to spend time with everyone. But now it was just a mess. Your quiet plea wasn’t heard.
“Our plans have been in place since last week. Y/n and I are going to lunch.” Nezha snapped. You started picking at the skin around your nails.
“The movie’s only an hour long. Just pick them up after it’s done.” Redson pointed out. His tail was swishing back and forth and it was adding to this sensory overload of yours as it kept tapping on your thigh.
“Y/n, are you okay?” MK held his hands in a “t” shape to signal for everyone to stop. Now all eyes fell on you and it felt impossible to move or breathe.
“I…” you could barely get words out. Why was this so hard? Syntax scooted away a little bit in order to give you some room to work with and Redson was quick to copy this motion. Nezha got up from his seat and went to the kitchen as the Mayor gave you a worried smile.
“Hey, take some deep breaths with me, alright? In,” MK instructed, motioning for you to copy him. You did. “And out. Good job! Let’s do it again!”
You followed his breathing. In for 4 seconds, holding for 7, and exhaling for 8. You could feel your nervous system realigning itself. Nezha came back with a glass of water and the ice cube tray. Before giving you the water, he handed you the tray.
“Here, hold this.”
“Huh? Why?” You still took the tray, even though you weren’t enjoying the cold feeling right on your fingers. But you got caught up in that and were successfully distracted from what was happening.
“Misdirection.”
“Forget about all that for a bit,” Syntax spoke up, in relation to all the plans. “What’s making you stressed and how can we fix it?”
You took your time to explain everything, pausing every now and then to drink water or do some more 4-7-8 breaths to regulate again. But you told them that you couldn’t think in all this noise, that you wanted to spend time with all of them but that it was difficult for you if everything was piling up all at once. They didn’t interrupt you once.
“Oh, y/n, we’re so sorry we made you so anxious.” The mayor gave you a hug as the others apologized as well.
“Let’s lay out a proper plan, alright? Space everything out evenly.” Redson looked to everyone, including you, looking for nods of agreement.
“Okay. I think since the Mayor is doing dinner tonight y/n and I can do lunch tomorrow. Does that work?” Nezha offered up. You gave a thumbs up.
“Then can we do the movie today so there’ll be a gap in between then and when we get back?” MK asked.
“Yes, and then you can work off all the snacks you’re gonna inhale.” Syntax joked.
“Perfect. Y/n, we still have a little time before we should get going. How about you clean up and then we’ll head out?” Redson put a hand on your shoulder.
“Yeah, that works. Thanks, guys. I’m sorry.” You put your now empty glass on the coffee table.
“There’s no need to be sorry, dear. We should have made sure everything worked before trying to pull you in a million directions.” The Mayor patted your head.
Each one of your lovers gave you a peck or a hug as an apology, and then they all started moving in their different directions to carry out plans. MK and Redson had you help them decide which seats in the movie theater to sit in. Nezha headed back to his own house to do whatever he wanted until it was time for dinner, and Syntax went with the Mayor to get the ingredients for the meal.
There’s never a dull moment with this group.

Now listen, when you opened up your tiny bakery, you didn’t expect a whole lot of traffic. It was simple pastries, some cookies, and cakes as well.Those who came in generally really enjoyed your food, and you were proud of yourself for making it this far! What you didn’t expect was four regulars who weren’t exactly of the “normal person” variety.
“I told you, noodle boy, you need to watch how close your tail gets to my fire! If I ever plan to roast you, it’ll be on purpose!” A redhead walked in, holding the door open as the next three figures came in. First was a shorter man with unruly brown hair and a red bandana, carrying a staff.
“I didn’t mean to!! I just overestimated how much space I had to work with!” He said. Behind him were two monkeys, one ginger and one raven-colored with some white streaks. They almost looked like they were related.
“What matters is that we put you out before it took the whole thing off, MK. Now c’mon, I’m starving!” The ginger ruffled the ‘noodle boy’s hair.
“Welcome! What can I get you?” You finally spoke, attempting not to stare at them too hard. They were all so attractive in their own ways, and you worried it would affect your abilities to serve them.
“Do you have anything peach flavored?” The ginger pressed his face up against the glass of your display case, and so did MK. Now that they were closer, you could see that they looked as if they’d been in some kind of fight. Some light scratches here and there on their faces, dust and ash coating their hair and skin. You could see MK’s tail, and the end was a little bit singed.
“We have some sodas, but nothing pastry wise. Sorry.”
“I’ll take one of those sodas, and actually a few of those sugar cookies as well.”
You put on some gloves and got to work on putting this all on a tray. You figured they’d want to stay and eat.
“Can I have a slice of that lava cake?” The redhead was pointing politely at the case, and you nodded as you went to retrieve the slice.
“And for you?” You made eye contact with the quiet, shadowy figure who stood closest to the door.
“Oh, uh…do you have coffee?”
“I do!”
“Black, please.”
His eyes were darting around the space, probably trying to understand why he was dragged here. But he also had a light red tint to his cheeks, like he was surprised you acknowledged him at all.
“And what about you?” You peered over the counter at MK.
“I can’t really decide…it all looks delicious.”
“I have a sample dish you can get, with one of each cookie on it.”
“Ooh! Yeah, I’ll do that!”
You rang them all up, and then each one searched their pockets for a wallet.
“Relax, all of you. I’ll put it on my credit card.” Red walked past all of them, handing you the card. You laughed at their antics as you finished the transaction and handed them the tray. They went over to an empty table.
“I’ll get you your drinks in just a second.” You pointed out, turning on your heel to get them. Once you did, you kind of made a show of bringing it to them. There was a small chance they’d notice your efforts in flirting, but there was also a chance they wouldn’t.
“Do you guys want, like…something to clean up with?” You asked.
“Nah. We’re all headed home after this, but thank you!” The ginger answered for the group. You nodded and left them to enjoy their snacks, opting to do some tidying up. In the back of your mind, you were listening to their conversations. The shadowy figure was named Macaque, the ginger was Monkey King, and the redhead was Redson. And of course you realized this meant that you were hosting several very powerful beings in your humble cafe. At least they tipped well?
This was all months ago. Since then, they’d show up at least once a week. They’d either be worn out from training, coming from a battle, or just showing up for fun. You came to be close with them, and eventually they all very politely asked you out. Now you were in a loving polyamorous relationship with them.
“Y/N, I’m gonna grab an ice pack from the freezer!” MK practically hopped your counter as he waved to you. You were busy ringing up a customer, but you gave him a thumbs up.
“Slow down!! You’re gonna steal the frosting out of the container again, aren’t you?!” Redson dashed in an effort to follow her boyfriend, but stopped to give you a quick peck on the cheek. The customer you were serving left with their order, and you turned your attention to the four people that were coming in quick succession.
“MK, if you’re gonna be back there, maybe you can check the dates on those for me?” You called.
“The chocolate’s good for another month. Vanilla could use another package, though.” You felt a chill as Macaque phased through one of his portals, licking a spoon. Wukong followed behind him, drinking his usual peach soda.
“How long have you two been here?!” You asked, trying and failing to snatch the spoon out of your partner’s hand. He was faster than you, though, leading to him laughing at your attempts.
“Long enough that I’ve gone through a whole pot of coffee.” He chuckled.
“Alright, no more for you today. And for goodness’ sake at least give me a heads up before you raid my kitchen!”
“Sure thing, boss.” He mocked you, ducking into the shadows again and emerging at a table to sit down with Wukong. MK and Redson came out of the kitchen as well, with MK holding an ice pack to his shoulder as he sat down.
“What did you do this time?”
“With all his brain power, he thought he could crash his way through a truck in the way of the demon we fought. Thank goodness it wasn’t his swinging arm.” Redson pointed out. You sighed and sat down with the group.
“You lot are pieces of work.”
“Yeah, but you loooove us!” MK gave you those puppy eyes, and you nodded in agreement.

Honey you will not have to lift a single finger while you're sick. Redson is especially attentive in making sure you're resting and not trying to strain yourself.
Mei is the one who helps make food and what not for you. She notes your favorite type of soup, juice, fruits and veg, so that way you can get healthy and it'll taste good.
MK keeps you entertained! He plays games with you(so do the others, but he's the most likely to want to distract you from how much it sucks being sick), watches cartoons with you, etc.
Redson and MK are the ones convincing you to take the medicine. They know it tastes bad, but if you don't do it, you'll be sick for longer. Mei is the neutral party here, sometimes jokingly assisting you in getting away from them and sometimes scooping you up so you can get caught by them. It's a gamble every time!
With masks on, they all cuddle you. You're a comfy blanket burrito and they're all around you as you guys watch a movie!
They feel bad you can't go do the things you want, like go to the park and stuff, but they also know it's for the best you're at home and not getting other people sick.
Redson and Mei are the ones who are at home the most, with MK doing deliveries and training, so they like playing with you. Both enjoy doing pretend tea parties and no one can change my mind.
They literally love you so much, your adorable and precious to them, but please oh my goodness don't cough right on the blanket ;-;
They promise that once you're healthy again, they'll take you wherever you want to make up for lost activities!

Also pretty protective of you and them. Not helicopter-level but still worries a substantial amount
He understands that the child may not like him at first, but he still tries! No matter what age they are, he finds a way to entertain them!
If the child is able and willing to be picked up, he does. Holds them in his arms, on his shoulder, piggyback rides—you name it
He also tries to take some stress off of you when he can. If you’re helping the child with some homework, he’s fine with tidying up a bit around the house
When the kid starts warming up to him, he has the time of his life as they talk to each other about their interests. He definitely passes along his favorite stories about Monkey King
Cries when the kid calls him “dad”. Like omg it’s like a waterfall ;-; he’s so happy

He’s very good with children, but he never pictured having one himself. Now that he’s with you he’s a little more open to connecting with them
No idea what to do at first. Probably freezes up but still tries to talk
You’ll have to nudge them both to start socializing
He begins by telling them simple stories from his life—nothing about the violence or bad parts of the journey, but probably others like how he became immortal
Allows the kid to gently play with his ears and tail. He wants them to lead, to size him up, bc he’s afraid of being too rough with them
When the child starts being more open with him he starts being more open too. He acts more like a dad during this time
Loves the little family dynamic he has with you now. He looks forward to seeing your kid, he looks forward to bonding with you both
Stims SO hard when the child refers to him as their dad. Like yes!! That’s him!!!!!
9/10 just because he would probably think in the mindset of “ok this is a baby monkey”
Macaque
He can tolerate kids. But he hasn’t had to worry about being around them a whole lot ever since leaving FFM. That being said, he is terrified of messing up
He treats them like they’re made of glass. You’ll have to encourage him a lot—he reminds himself that this isn’t just some stranger, it’s your child.
The one thing he masters very quickly is bedtime. He loves telling stories and playing with the shadows to help lull the child to sleep :)
Really good at helping you and the child with a daily routine. He’s 100% there to pick them up from school, he goes to the parent-teacher conferences with you, heck, he’s not half-bad at homework.
Once the two are closer, he offers up the idea of training them to do karate or some kind of martial arts. It’s a great bonding experience.
So patient with them. If the child ever shows signs of needing space or time to figure something out, he steps back. He makes it clear he is willing to help and then lets things play out.
Really good at pretend play. The best French waiter impression in the pretend restaurant :)
When he is referred to as “dad” he realizes he’s in for the long haul and is SO okay with it.
10/10 shows up in a shadow portal at their school to drop off their lunch
Nezha
Man’s is going into this knowing very little about modern kids. But like everything else he’s done, he’s gonna put all the effort he can into it.
Probably really formal about it? The kid is so confused and actually laughs at him a little
You have to give him tips here and there. Like, no, they don’t know complex arithmetic yet, don’t bond with them over a conversation about it?
He likes being active with them. Trips to the park, simple backyard games like tag or hide and seek—it’s honestly super nice and relaxing for him and he likes seeing them energetic and ready to chase him
He’s really intelligent about many subjects, so he’s probably the best out of all of them for homework or studying.
He picks them up from school using his fire wheels and the kid LOVES it
He reads those parenting books if he feels the need to or if he needs serious guidance, but more often than not he comes to you for advice
Acts like it’s no big deal that he gets called “dad” but on the inside he’s jumping for joy
9/10 the kid has to educate him on what My Little Pony is because he has no idea about modern media

He’s a busy man by default. But he’s learning to balance everything as he spends more time with you and eventually is introduced to your child
Before anything, he reads the books and consults anyone on his staff with kids. He talks to you as well. How should he talk to them? What do they like? Is there a certain food they enjoy?
Cool, calm, collected. Waits very patiently for the child to assess him and answers any questions they have.
He involves himself in their school stuff. Very attentive to the quality of teachers, how the child is doing in their classes. Second most useful in helping them with work(first being Nezha).
Takes the kid with him to work every once in a while to show them around. The most dad-like out of all of them. In appearance, in attitude, and of course in jokes.
After a particularly dumb pun, the child laughs and says “dad that’s so bad!” And this man FREEZES
Cries about it to you, is so happy to be accepted by your child and have you both in his life

Listen I love a scientist spider as much as the next guy but I cannot see him liking kids. It’ll take a lot of effort on your part to get both him and your child to hang out with each other

As y/n was cleaning up his home, excited for his partners to all show up for movie night at his place, he had a weird feeling in his gut. It wasn’t a painful feeling, but it was almost like dizziness. As he finished sweeping, he sneezed, and then the feeling was gone. He felt triumphant about it, but then he looked down at the ground and saw how much shorter he was. He had paws, a tail, and a snout he could see if he went cross eyed.
Oh no.
What was happening?!
“Y/n, my beloved! We have arrived! And with refreshments!” Redson called, entering through the front door. MK and the others were trailing behind, each with a bag that he could only assume was said refreshments.
“I wouldn’t call five bags of peach chips refreshing.” Macaque commented, looking over his shoulder at Wukong.
“Hey, it’s either this or popcorn kernels stuck in my fangs for days!”
“Do you not know about any other snacks??”
“What the heck? There’s a fox!” MK called out, pointing at y/n.

MK and Wukong, although concerned like the others, were both clearly holding themselves back from gushing over how cute he was.
“Well, if you sneezed to change, maybe you need to sneeze again to undo it?” Redson suggested.
“But I don’t really need to sneeze anymore.”
“Here, how’s this?” Macaque took a hold of his own tail and brushed it back and forth under y/n’s nose. He sneezed, but he didn’t change back.
“Okay…so maybe we should consider other solutions?” MK chuckled.
“Like what? The most obvious one just proved not to work!” Y/n was still so utterly confused as to why this even happened.
“Calm down, sweetheart, we’ll figure it out! You’ve got,” Macaque stopped to do a head count. “Two very smart beings here to help!”
“But there’s five of us in total!” MK said.
“Make that three, since the kid finally learned to count.”
“HEY!”
“Either way, maybe it was something in the dust you were sweeping?” Redson interjected, kneeling down to the dustpan and looking at it.
“Like what?”
“Well, you’ve got three mystic monkeys and a demon here on an almost regular basis. Perhaps if we dropped any hair or fur, and you breathed it in…”
“Then it would change him?” MK finished. Redson nodded. Y/n hopped out of Macaque’s arms and onto his couch, trying to stand on his hind legs to be a more active party in the conversation.
“Well how do I get it out? I can’t be stuck like this forever!!”
“I mean, if you were, it wouldn’t be so bad! This is literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!” Wukong cooed. He scratched behind y/n’s ears and giggled at how the fox started wagging his tail. Macaque grabbed a tissue and slapped Wukong’s hand away so he could move around.
“Here, try blowing your nose. If nothing else, we’ll make you sneeze again.” He said. Y/n followed his instructions and with one harsh blow into the tissue, there was a puff of smoke. Abracadabra, he was human again!
“Woohoo! I’m a big boy again!” He cheered.
“Aw, and we didn’t even get any pictures before…” MK pouted.
“Wait, yeah, y/n! Inhale it again, we need a picture!” Wukong unfortunately encouraged the boy, and thankfully Redson and Macaque distracted them with the snacks they had brought over for the original movie night plans.
Can I request Mk x Female s/o who can best be descibed as 'soft bunny' the small, quiet, sweet and soft type. And by complete accident when visiting his gf he meets her father for the first time and, unlike his daughter, he is Terrifying, stoic and stone faced, build like sandy, and looks like he eats grizzly bears and metal bars for breakfast. Bonus for extra funnies, he doesn't even dislike Mk, he's a protective sure, but he's mostly curious but his aura makes his questions sound threatening.

“MK! Good, you made it!” Y/n waved from her home’s front porch as she saw MK’s delivery vehicle pull into her driveway. He waved too, jingling the keys in his hands as he walked up to his girlfriend and gave her a kiss.
“Just so you know, I can’t leave just yet so we can get to the park. My dad’s working on fixing my sink,” she led MK inside, pointing over at the kitchen. “We can head out after he’s done.”
“Your dad? Have I met him?” MK peeked in, really only seeing a pair of legs sticking out from under the sink.
“No, I don’t think you have! Here,” she went into the room and poked one of the ankles with her foot. There was a surprised grumble, before a man who was built like a truck appeared. MK could feel his soul leaving his body. How could someone so sweet come from…this utterly terrifying man??
“Dad! This is my boyfriend, MK! You know, the Monkey Kid!” She introduced MK, tugging on his arm to bring him closer. “MK, this is my dad!”
“Very nice to meet you, Mr. l/n!” MK stammered. The towering figure reached out a hand. When MK took it, he thanked Buddha he had mystic monkey strength to handle the pure strength of his grip.
“You too, kid,” Mr. l/n seemed to glare down at him, but then when he looked at his daughter, he seemed ever so slightly softer. “Why is he here?”
“We’re going to go meet up with Mei and Redson at the park in a little while! Kinda like a double date!” She smiled. He grunted in response before turning back to the sink and turning the faucet to see if it worked. Unfortunately, the pipe underneath started dripping water.
“Mind if I have a look at it, sir?” MK cautiously stepped forward. Gods, it was like when he first met Sandy. Except there was no way this guy had ever met a therapy cat.
“You can try.” He scoffed. MK rolled up the sleeves of his jacket and went under the sink. He found a wrench and tried to adjust things, however it kind of exploded when he thought he’d fixed it.
“Dad, you need to turn off the sink first.” Y/n commented. The water stopped. MK sighed, but then a lightbulb turned on in his brain.
“I can shrink myself down to see what’s wrong in the pipes!” He suggested.
“That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” Mr. l/n said. However, y/n gave a thumbs up.
“Hey, there ya go! I’ll shine a light down there, and give you some string to hold onto!” She left the room for a moment, leaving MK alone with her dad.
“How long have you been seeing my daughter?” The sound of his voice was much more intimidating now that it was just them.
“Uh, a little while now actually!” MK responded.
“If you hurt her, I’ll squash you like a bug. Capiche?”
“Yup. Hear ya loud and clear.” MK was shaking in his boots, but then y/n came back into the room, flashlight and string in hand.
“Alright, think tiny!” She said, and MK transformed into a much smaller version of himself. She caught him in her hand and set him on the counter, where she tied a bit of string around him.
“I’m ready, send me down!” He called. She dangled him over the drain and slowly lowered him.
It was dark, but not for long as she got the light on. He could see a large blockage of something just up ahead. He saw how some of the water that had been going earlier was pooling around it, so that it couldn’t go through. MK tugged on the string and was helped out of the drain, where he made himself big again after untying the string.
“There’s a chunk of something in there. If you get it out, it should be fine!”
“Hm.”
Mr. L/n got back under the sink, putting on some gloves and detaching the pipes from each other. The blockage was removed and then the thing was rebuilt. Running the water again, it went smoothly.
“Oh good! Thanks, guys.” Y/n thanked the boys. Her dad stood up again and actually smiled a little.
“Thanks, kid.” The man spoke firmly, but his tone was different in a positive way.
“With that all sorted out, let’s get going! We don’t wanna keep the others waiting too long!” Y/n said, giving her dad a quick hug and heading toward the door with MK in tow. He waved at her dad and then they piled into the deliver vehicle to got see the others.

MK - oh my gosh this boy thinks you are adorable. In the relationship he likes that you have the same kinda energy levels that he has! You two probably go on a lot of fun dates rather than serious ones(hitting the dance floor at the arcade as opposed to a fancy dinner). Also, he’s super affectionate with you in general, but it’s completely up to you if you let him pet your bunny ears or let him lean on your chest. He loves giving you bunny kisses(if you don’t know, it’s when you nuzzle noses with someone it’s so cute).
Redson - probably very protective of you! After all, if you look this adorable, some other demon is sure to try and come after you…Red won’t let them get the chance :) anyways. You two are an interesting couple; a fiery Bull demon with anger issues and a very lovable and outgoing bunny demon…and yet somehow you cancel each other out enough that this relationship works out very well! You’re kind of like Redson’s “emotional support y/n”! And in turn you basically have immunity from any other demon attacks. Red pretends to be very casual at first but at the end of the day he can’t resist those eyes that you give him when you want him to come cuddle with you. He’s a space heater, take advantage of it during the colder months! Also, he definitely uses your chest as a pillow. It’s the perfect way to convince him to get actual rest :)
Nezha - so so stoic but TRUST ME, he is internally screaming. How are you so cute and also want to be in a relationship with him of all people?? It’ll take a while, but he relaxes a bit and gets used to being allowed to be sweet and soft and romantic with you. When he’s stressed out he will definitely seek you out so he can chill, especially by just getting down to your level(assuming you’re shorter than him) and hugging you. His absolute favorite thing is wrapping you up in a blanket and carrying you around the house while he just does stuff because then he can have a kiss kiss whenever :3
Macaque - okay so prepare for some teasing from this man in the relationship. He’ll poke some fun at you and call you names associated with bunnies(lovebun is his favorite nickname to call you), but if it honestly bothers you he’ll ease up. Like Nezha, it may take him a minute to allow himself to let his guard down and actually let himself be loved as much as he’s loving you. He’s also pretty protective. He loves snuggling up with you at the end of a very long day more than anything else. It makes him feel safe.
Wukong - remember the cooking with Chang’e episode? This is exactly like that except you’re not a robot trying to destroy him. Wukong cannot stop himself from squealing almost every time he sees you. He’s very into physical affection, so don’t be surprised if whatever activity you’re up to gets slightly interrupted by loud monkey purring as he nuzzles you. Similar to Macaque, he’ll poke fun at you, but it’s all very lighthearted and never meant as an insult. If you allow him to, he may shrink you down a bit so he can bring you with him wherever. He also cuddles with you and puts his head on your chest a lot.

MK - oooo! This boy most definitely wants to fly with you! Whether it’s transforming himself or convincing you to carry him, it’s gonna happen! He also loves looking at your wings in general. If you’re ever just sitting and chilling with enough room for him to sit behind you so he can be sandwiched in between your wings, expect him to be there. He offers to help take care of them, if you have a specific wing-care routine. Also, probably nicknames you “angel”!
Redson - They think you’re pretty cool, but they’re not gonna make a big deal out of it. Red compliments them a lot, though, just because they think the wings suit you very well. Extremely gentle around them, because they don’t want to set you on fire. You would probably be the one who has to convince them to let you carry them so you can fly together. They’ll be clinging onto you really tight the entire time, though!
Mei - she is OBSESSED. Likes flying with you, feeling them, taking care of them—if I’m honest, she would probably collect feathers that fall off of them or the ones that you can give her—basically, she thinks you’re one of the coolest people she knows. Also, she gets to brag to people that her s/o has super cool wings. Calls you her “guardian angel” since you, as her partner, probably have to help keep her out of trouble.
SWK - He thinks you’re really cool! He also probably does a lot of bird/angel puns, sorry. He lovesss just feeling your wings and practically sleeping on them, at least until you get him to move because you can’t be his pillow ALL day(as nice as it sounds). The other thing he likes is watching you take care of them. Since it’s wayyy different from monkey grooming, he’s not gonna stick his nose in it, but he likes observing. You two fly together a lot!
Macaque - probably sees you as fairly cool compared to the average person. He never asks to touch your wings; he prefers to wait for you to give him full permission. Even then he’s super gentle since he doesn’t know if it’s painful or anything. He likes being surrounded by them since it actually muffles some of the noise he hears. Similar to Redson, you’ll have to convince him to fly with you. It’ll take a lot of trust on his end, but he will do it eventually.

He can hardly believe it and thinks that you’re a demon trying to mess with him. But nope, you just give him a kiss and bring him to one of the stores he’s shown interest in and tell him to find some nice clothes. Then after you’ll take him to dinner. It takes him a while to get used to it, but he loves the attention you give him. Macaque - look, it’s gonna take a lot of time for him to be comfortable calling you a friend, let alone his partner, let alone…this. You’ll have to start small with him so you don’t scare him off. Promise him you won’t hold this all against him some day, and that you’re honestly doing all this because you love him. He usually seems very confident, however once he realizes your intentions are good, he almost becomes shy. It’ll take some serious coaxing to get him to point out things that he likes so you can get them, but you love how flustered he gets when he tries clothes on and asks you what you think. I think his love language receiving would be gifts(since let’s face it when he used to be friends(or more?) with Wukong he was never empty-handed by the end of the day) but in terms of giving he probably likes physical touch or words of affirmation…expect a clingy monkey after every trip :)

Redson - ASDFJHDGAS WHERE ARE YOU GOING COME BACK??? They’re the most likely out of the group to get you a backpack leash. He also probably just yells your name out of habit to try and get your attention so you don’t wander off. Considers putting some kind of magic rune on you that will automatically guide you back to him if you walk away
Mei - oh my gosh she’s just as bad. Will definitely have trackers in your phone and hers so at the very least you can find each other digitally. She’s the type to be like “omg let’s hold hands so we don't get lost it’s like what otters do” and then 3 seconds later she lets go and forgets to keep you in her line of sight. It’s really funny
MK - for him, it’s just a really large and constant game of marco-polo. He has fun trying to find you if you wander off! He only really gets worried if he feels that something is really wrong. He would also probably have a balloon tied to you or something so he could see you in a larger crowd. If worst comes to worst, he goes up to the customer service desk and makes an announcement to call you over.
SWK - He gives you some kind of magic thing that he can use his gold vision to see you with just in case something happens. Other than that, he’s actually the best out of these 4 when it comes to sticking with you. He’s had to keep track of MK for a while now, so it makes sense that he’s developed his skills of person-wrangling. He doesn’t get mad or anything either, unless you wandered off and got into a dangerous situation.

Redson - finds you adorable but will not admit it to your face. The first time you transform in front of them he freaks out a bit but then you turn back and she’s like ah. Once you properly explain how it works I think they’d rile you up on purpose because he has a lot of fun watching you get all excited and then boom! It’s a dog!! In a situation where you transform because you’re mad and Red is hurt bc of another demon, they hold a lot more respect for your other form because oh my gosh…that’s intimidating in a really cool way
Mei - AHHHH she’s obsessed!!! May or may not throw her sword while you’re in your wolf form so you’ll play fetch. Alternatively, taking power naps with each other while she’s in her dragon form and you’re in your wolf form>>>> anyways she no longer has to ask her parents about getting a puppy bc she’s got one <3 of course she loves you outside of your wolf form as well!
MK - loves seeing you transform and probably uses his powers to transform too so you guys can just have fun together! Nezha - very confused at first, but it’s not the strangest thing he’s ever seen, so he rolls with it. Not gonna lie I think once he gets used to it he’d definitely let you play fetch with his spear or use his fire wheels to chase you around. It’s just a really fun way for him to unwind with you and blow off some steam. Also, he learned how to purr. It's a noise that could honestly lull someone to sleep
