I don't think this man has had any proper affection since he became a spider, so he doesn't know how to handle your cuddlyness at first

He likes the idea but he has no clue how to do it

You just sort of place him on the couch, grab a blanket or two, and make yourself comfy around him. And it works!

He has never relaxed so easily in his LIFE. and now he's hooked

He won't verbally express that he likes it or that he wants to cuddle with you, however you'll be able to tell pretty easily

He makes himself as physically close to you as possible, makes sure you KNOW he's there.....

and then disappears to wait on the nearest cuddling surface.

Mostly the couch, but he's very content to maneuver with you on his office chair.

Loves resting his chin on top of your head and listening to you ramble. He's attentive, even if he's working on something else at the same time

Overall, 9/10 just because I think he'd get too comfortable and be hesitant to let you just get up whenever you want lol

Redson - ASDFJHDGAS WHERE ARE YOU GOING COME BACK??? They’re the most likely out of the group to get you a backpack leash. He also probably just yells your name out of habit to try and get your attention so you don’t wander off. Considers putting some kind of magic rune on you that will automatically guide you back to him if you walk away

Mei - oh my gosh she’s just as bad. Will definitely have trackers in your phone and hers so at the very least you can find each other digitally. She’s the type to be like “omg let’s hold hands so we don't get lost it’s like what otters do” and then 3 seconds later she lets go and forgets to keep you in her line of sight. It’s really funny

MK - for him, it’s just a really large and constant game of marco-polo. He has fun trying to find you if you wander off! He only really gets worried if he feels that something is really wrong. He would also probably have a balloon tied to you or something so he could see you in a larger crowd. If worst comes to worst, he goes up to the customer service desk and makes an announcement to call you over.

SWK - He gives you some kind of magic thing that he can use his gold vision to see you with just in case something happens. Other than that, he’s actually the best out of these 4 when it comes to sticking with you. He’s had to keep track of MK for a while now, so it makes sense that he’s developed his skills of person-wrangling. He doesn’t get mad or anything either, unless you wandered off and got into a dangerous situation.

Redson - finds you adorable but will not admit it to your face. The first time you transform in front of them he freaks out a bit but then you turn back and she’s like ah. Once you properly explain how it works I think they’d rile you up on purpose because he has a lot of fun watching you get all excited and then boom! It’s a dog!! In a situation where you transform because you’re mad and Red is hurt bc of another demon, they hold a lot more respect for your other form because oh my gosh…that’s intimidating in a really cool way

Mei - AHHHH she’s obsessed!!! May or may not throw her sword while you’re in your wolf form so you’ll play fetch. Alternatively, taking power naps with each other while she’s in her dragon form and you’re in your wolf form>>>> anyways she no longer has to ask her parents about getting a puppy bc she’s got one <3 of course she loves you outside of your wolf form as well!

MK - loves seeing you transform and probably uses his powers to transform too so you guys can just have fun together! You make a great team this way :) and if you transform for a negative reason(like a lot of anger) he steers clear so he can let you just get it out. He loves you either way! If you don’t mind it, he might buy you a chew toy or two so you have something to do in your other form!

Nezha - very confused at first, but it’s not the strangest thing he’s ever seen, so he rolls with it. Not gonna lie I think once he gets used to it he’d definitely let you play fetch with his spear or use his fire wheels to chase you around. It’s just a really fun way for him to unwind with you and blow off some steam. You two make a good fighting team as well, and RIP to whatever demon decides to mess with Nezha and his partner—once the wolf shows up with an angry teenager it’s all over

Like reader has PTSD because a person close to her used her body to do bad things and other stuff….. but when months past sins that happened she stills has nightmares from what happened to her and when she’s closed to a man that she doesn’t know she starts getting a panic attack but if she forgets to take her pills that help her she starts hearing voices to do bad things to herself or hurt herself

HEY. WARNING. HEAVY STUFF AHEAD. IF YOU'RE NOT IN AN OKAY STATE OF MIND I SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS FOR NOW. THE CONTENT IS COMFORTING BUT THE SUBJECT IS HEAVY. GO WATCH SOME CAT VIDEOS. THANK YOU FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF.

Macaque would swear vengeance when he finds out. Out of the group he would be the first resort to violence to cancel out what happened. If you tell him not to, convince him to stay and help you, he will. He'll drop everything to try and make you feel safe again. He keeps you close to him, making sure that above all else that whatever environment you're in that you are not in danger. If you have a panic attack I think he'd also panic a little bit but then he'd refocus and help to ground you, then help you get away from whatever triggered you. He has a very sharp memory so he reminds you to take your meds if you don't remember. But the downside is he'll feel super shitty if you hurt yourself. So he walks you through some guided meditation and breathing techniques.

Wukong focuses on you the moment he finds out. What are your needs right now? Have you taken your meds? Did you do some sort of self care today? He's super observant, he knew something was off with you, but he didn't want to pry. If you have a panic attack he will very quickly remove you from the situation so you're able to calm down. He gets you some water, your meds(if you forgot them) and tries to get your mind off of things. When it comes to what you do if you're off your meds, he's the king of distractions. He would never shame you for hurting yourself, but he would definitely try to steer you away from it and towards something healthier(i.e. squeezing an ice cube or scribbling on paper).

Nezha is very cautious with you. He is fully prepared to be violent if you want him to be however his top priority is you. He helps you find some kind of routine that ensures that you're getting what you need to function--water, meals, and some physical activity. If you have a panic attack, he's actually really good at helping to ground you. He lets you squeeze his hand or braid his hair. If you end up hurting yourself he first assesses the area--is there something there that triggered you? And once that's done he helps you. He helps you to get comfortable and provides some kind of activity for you to do instead. He still always offers to "get rid of the problem", though.

Sandy knows where you're coming from and he's determined to help. He starts out by getting some tea ready, and while that brews he talks to you. He walks you through your feelings and the basics of what happened. You relax a bit as he helps calm you down. If you allow him to he'll encourage you to spend some time with the therapy cats(especially Mo) and he'll even prepare the couch for you to sleep on if you want to spend the night. He is probably the best out of the group when it comes to reminding you to take care of yourself and take your medicine. If you happen to spiral or fall into a dark place he gently coaxes you into doing something else and relaxing again. He knows how to handle panic attacks like a champ and always tells you he's proud of you and how strong you are, even if you don't see it.

Shadowpeach - most likely to be a badass trio with you. Two celestial monkeys and a whole dragon??? NOBODY is gonna mess with y’all now. I think the pair of them would have fun and spar with you in different dragon forms you have, just to see what it’s like to fight a dragon. If you have some fun dragon features when you’re in your human form they’ll definitely tease you lightheartedly about them! Overall, a very good combo, since if they ever end up in a fight then you’re the wildcard—monkey, monkey, and oh? Another monkey? NOPE ITS A DRAGON

Redson - FIRE DUO FIRE DUO—He thinks you’re very cool! Finally, he has someone who can appreciate a lava bath and absurdly hot food with him! Also, they would definitely spoil you with some kind of special scale cleaning stuff for you to use. Never pressures you to take one form or another when you’re with her but I think he has a preference for your Eastern Dragon form just because it’s the one he’s the most familiar with(that and you look really cool ok)

MK - ultimate hype man. It’s basically large s/o x small s/o when you’re in your dragon form it’s wonderful. He loves just watching you,,, be a dragon. Seeing you fly is his favorite thing because he can fly with you!! On his cloud!!! Also maybe bugs you for rides. You obviously don’t have to give him any, but can you really say no to a face like his? Also, expect him to make drawings of your different forms. Pose for him if you feel like it!

“Gods, you’re burning up!” 

Macaque took the thermometer from you with wide eyes. You could really only nod, and even then it was hard to really move. You were lying in his bed, since you had spent the night after watching movies with him, however you awoke feeling as if you were on fire. He had gotten you set up with plenty of fluids and an ice pack on your forehead, but it wasn’t helping as much as he had hoped. He took out his phone, typing up some messages.

“What’re you doing?” You asked, your words slurring. His tail was swishing as his expression was concerned. 

“I’m calling in the big guns.” 

Not even half an hour later, your other two partners appeared. Wukong came in the door first, and held it open as Spider Queen came in with some grocery bags. Macaque helped to take their coats. 

“Queenie, I told you, I had food covered.” He protested, raising an eyebrow at how much she was actually carrying. She shook her head, stepping into the apartment’s kitchen and opening the fridge. It was nearly barren, save for some leftover takeout and a single plum. 

“Yes, because this’ll be enough to nurse a whole army back to health. Gimme time, and I’ll have just the remedy for this blasted fever,” she tied all her dark hair back into a bun and then moved past the monkeys to where you were. Upon seeing you, it was like she was going full mom-mode—the term Wukong had coined after she had made a habit of fretting over you, him, and Macaque on a normal basis. “Oh, sweetheart, look at you!”

“Hi Queenie…” you reached out to her and she enveloped you in a hug. 

“How’d this happen? Who was so cruel to pass on these germs to you?!” 

“I dunno,” you spoke into her chest. Even though you loved the attention, you were still very warm. She pressed the back of her hand to your forehead. “But I’m really tired…”

“That’s okay. You just lay back while I go make something to help, alright? No work, no nothin’ until you’re better.” She gave the crown of your head a kiss before stepping out of the bedroom to go begin the meal. Wukong came in next, with Macaque trailing behind him. 

“Hey, peaches. You okay?” He sat on the edge of the bed, leaning over and kissing your cheek. 

“Not so much. I’m drinking water and stuff, but I still feel cruddy.” You said. 

“Aw, well no worries! We’ll take care of you!” He reached into his own bag, that you didn’t even realize he’d brought in, and retrieved a stuffed bear. You happily accepted the plush, hugging it tightly. 

“Thanks Wukong!! I love him!” You smiled. He smiled back. Him and Macaque settled onto the bed, making small talk. Every now and then they’d pause and remind you to drink water, before resuming and grooming each other a little bit. Eventually a wonderful smell wafted through the air. All three of you went to the bedroom doorway and looked toward the kitchen. 

Queenie stood facing the stove, her sleeves rolled up and a hand on her hip as she stirred something in a pot. She taste tested some of it, before shaking her head and adding some herbs to the mixture. 

Sensing the pairs of eyes on her, she turned her head, gaze softening as she saw you all looking toward her. She taste tested again, this time nodding, and then she motioned for you to come over. Wukong moved forward first, practically salivating, and Macaque rolled his eyes and scooped you up bridal style. He carried you over to his table, sitting you down and then going to get dishes. 

Once everyone was set up at the table, the queen scooped some of the stew from the pot and into the bowls in front of you and the others. 

“This recipe’s warded off sickness from me and my boys for ages,” the boys in question being her henchmen who she said were also her subjects. “So I want you two to eat it as well, just to be on the safe side.”

“Promise there’s no meat or people in it.” Wukong joked, remembering what her diet could consist of. 

“Relax, I wouldn’t feed y’all that stuff! It’s just veggies and herbs. Now dig in!” 

Indeed, you all ate as if your lives depended on it, but really, it was just that delicious. Macaque noticed you were tired after the fact, so he helped to set you up in his bed again, opting to sleep on his own couch. In the morning, you awoke and felt as if the fever had never even been there, snuggled up with a happy stomach and your new stuffed bear.

could I request for wukong and macaque (seperate or poly is fine!) x reader who is super physically affectionate? like they rlly enjoy cuddling or just random touches, and can get quite protective if the person they care about is ever in danger? ty!! and no worries if you don’t want to either haha

Shadowpeach - you have the combined force of two celestial monkeys to keep you company, so rest assured you’ll never be without at least a tail to hold. Most of the time what will happen is you’ll start out just doing your own things, then Wukong will stop by for a random hug or smooch but then he gets comfy with you(even if he’s in the way…he’s like a cat). Eventually Mac will come along and join in, and by then no one’s going anywhere for at least an hour. They love seeing you get all protective over them, even though they can definitely handle themselves just fine. Their favorite thing, though, is just laying down with you and chattering while grooming each other and you. It’s almost serene—these two terrifying beings are suddenly calm and purring as they aren’t causing chaos for once. 10/10

SWK - he’s very, very touch-starved so I think he’d vibe very well with you! He tends to pop up out of nowhere and kiss you for a little bit, before zooming off again— unless you stop him and insist that he stays. His absolute favorite thing is coming home after a long day of training with MK, getting into some comfy clothes, and then falling asleep cuddled up with you. He lets you do your thing being protective of him; all the while knowing that if something were to happen he would gladly take care of it. 10/10

Macaque - he is also super touch-starved but it will still take him some getting used to when it comes to receiving physical affection. But soon enough he finds himself looking forward to when you come around, because that’s when his face will be kissed ever so sweetly and his hands won’t be as cold as they usually are with you holding them. He’s extremely gentle with you when he gives affection simply out of habit. He also has a habit of retrieving you through a shadow portal, taking you back home, and wrapping you up in blankets with him so he isn’t lonely. It’s honestly cute, if it weren’t an inconvenience sometimes. Also, he is just as if not more protective over you than you are over him--see below comic 10/10

Okay, only a fewwww more minutes, then it’ll be six AM!” Y/n muttered to herself, eyes trained on the cameras. She had been trying to beat this part of the game for ages now, and hadn’t really left the game room. She had snacks, a drink, and a nice blanket with her…so theoretically, she could try all day if she wanted to.

The one detail she forgot about was her two boyfriends.

They had indeed all woken up together that morning, with Macaque running some errands early on and Wukong stopping at Pigsy’s for a visit with MK. But now they were both home, and neither had really heard from y/n.

With his six ears, Macaque could tell she was playing that creepy game again. He didn’t mind the horror, but the noises that the animatronics made when they killed the player hurt his head. Wukong thought it was just a weird game, but wasn’t opposed to when she would invite him to watch her.

“I have an idea.” Macaque said, knowing y/n was too immersed to try and eavesdrop right now. 

“Oh? Do tell!” Wukong’s tail wagged.

“Here’s the plan…”

Y/n’s ears perked up, thinking she was hearing whispering. But she also figured it was the odd ambience of the game, so she paid it no mind. The power went out in the game; this now had her anxious as to whether Freddy would be quick to finish her off or if he would let her progress to the next night. Just as his song ended, she screamed as a pair of hands grabbed her shoulders and a different pair of hands covered her eyes. And through her headphones, the animatronic bear screamed too.

She had lost. Again!

“Ughhhh not fair! You’re both lucky I didn’t try scratching at you!” She whined, spinning the chair around and playfully pushing her boyfriends away from her. Wukong laughed and Macaque appeared through one of his portals. He ruffled the hair that was close to her four ears. 

“You’re funny when you get angry! Just like a pouty kitten!” He teased. Y/n narrowed her eyes.

“C’mon, we were just having fun! No need to be upset!” Wukong tried to back the shadow up on this, but Y/n wasn’t having it. She unplugged the headphones and got up from the chair.

“If you two wanna play games,” she smiled with a glint of mischief in her voice “then you can sit down and play.”

This was less of an actual invitation, and more of a challenge. The monkeys looked at each other, weighing their options. There was a good chance she’d let this all go if they humored her on this one.

Wukong took the seat first, leaving Macaque to find a different chair. Y/n, however, was already getting comfortable in Wukong’s lap, so that option was gone too. He supposed he’d just stand. 

Wukong clicked the “continue from night 3” button, and let it begin again.

Several tries later, and they had managed to get to 4 AM without losing power. Y/n happily munched away on her snacks, even with Wukong growing more afraid each time he saw one of the robots. Macaque had put on his sensory headphones to block out the noise, but was still giving his opinions and directions. 

“No, you need to check the cove! He could’ve moved!” He said, tugging on Wukong’s sleeve.

“I just checked on him! I’m trying to find the rabbit!” Wukong clicked onto camera 2B, and his tail puffed up. “WHAT IS THAT?!”

Y/n glanced at the screen, seeing the telltale sign of an incoming golden Freddy jumpscare. She shrugged.

“Ah, probably just a glitch.” 

“If you’re sure….” He put down the tablet to check the doors, but was instead met with the yellow bear. His screen flashed and a loud scream rang out, causing him to flail and knock over the chair by accident. Y/n landed on her feet and was laughing at him. 

“Now you know how it feels!” She crossed her arms. Macaque couldn’t help but laugh too. He was just glad he wasn’t in the chair.

Monkey!MK x GN!Human!Reader (Romantic Headcanons, but ngl it’s mostly me describing Monkey MK)

Okay, first off: general monkey description.

MK has a tail, semi-pointy ears, fluffier hair, and facial markings.

Also, sharp teeth! But not as sharp as Mei's or Redson's(dragon and demon teeth, respectively)

Anyways, in a relationship I think he'd LOVE when you play with his hair or if you let him play with yours

Brings little snacks or trinkets with him for you whenever he stops by for a visit

He learned this from Monkey King, but he has a very specific "woot" noise he makes when he sees you!

Also, he learned how to purr. It's a noise that could honestly lull someone to sleep

Mini scenario: you two are on FFM, either going to or from training. MK is all riled up so he's literally climbing trees and stuff and meanwhile you're on the ground

He swoops down and brings you up into the trees with him :))))

🌙 - sleep ; MK has a huge bed for a reason--he will 100% be in a starfish position by the time he wakes up in the morning. He has a monkey King plush that's been with him for years that he NEEDS in order to sleep. Light snores.

☠️ - anger/violence ; he doesn't like getting angry, but sometimes if he gets overly frustrated with something or someone he will definitely start breaking stuff. Also, more prone to swearing when he's super mad. You can tell when he's getting mad when his voice shakes a little and he keeps running his hands through his hair.

♒ - food/cooking ; learned everything about cooking from Pigsy! MK isn't perfect at cooking, he has definitely set off the smoke alarms before, but he does a lot better if he's working with someone. He likes savory foods the most!

Happy Valentine's Day! (Special!)

Here's how some of the ships and characters would be celebrating! Much love to all of you, no matter if you're alone or with a partner today!

Ships (character x character)

Freenoodles: Pigsy and Tang do the classic date night situation but with a twist. Pigsy will make dinner, they’ll eat at home, and then they go out for dessert and watch a movie. Lots of chatter afterward about what they liked, what they didn’t. Maybe a lil bit of info dumping from Tang, which Pigsy will listen to very intently. They end the night just talking on Sandy’s boat and enjoying the night sky. 10/10 very wholesome and sweet Spicynoodles: a little chaotic for MK and Red. They each have plans however there will most likely be a breakdown in communication which leads to those plans overlapping. They do what they can, which will most definitely entail a relatively fancy picnic at the park. MK in my opinion would bring flowers with meanings—probably sunflowers and tulips. Redson would probably gift MK a Very Expensive Monkey King themed item. They spend the night at MK’s apartment since it’s very homey, and the next morning Red is using his fire to make breakfast. 9/10 “we can’t see a movie and be at the arcade babe clones don’t work that way” Silktea(Sandy x Huntsman): Huntsman, with some help from the Queen(she’s much better with the webbing than he is), makes an elaborate set of coasters for Sandy’s teacups and pot. Sandy probably writes him some form of poetry(definitely consulted Macaque) and showers him in affection. They have dinner on his boat and honestly just stay in to enjoy each other’s company. Huntsman is incredibly flustered the whole time because he’s never celebrated before. 10/10 “hunts, I love all four of your eyes <3” “ASASDFFS—“ DBK x Iron Fan(do they have a ship name???): private reservation at a fancy restaurant. It ends with DBK making the waiter feel terrified but they tip well. They walk around the lava pits near FFM, since they convinced Redson to ask MK to ask Wukong if they could and he said sure. DBK’s maybe not the best at words but he loves his wife very much so he expresses it by being physically affectionate. She returns these affections and honestly when they’re not trying to actively take over the city they’re a sweet couple. 8/10 the waiter will need therapy Shadowpeach: (I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE. TURN IT UP) Wukong has a lot of ideas but he’s bad at executing them. Macaque is a romantic at heart so he does his best to figure it out. Most of their day will be spent on FFM, indulging themselves in all the fruit they want and having fun playing around like they used to. Wukong most definitely brings Macaque shiny things as gifts. Macaque has a special trunk full of shiny things/gifts from Wukong at his dojo because he doesn’t want anything to happen to them. At some point they have dinner, watch the sunset and just talk. If they’re both up for it they watch a movie or something and groom each other before they go to bed. 10/10 monkeys go brrr

Syntax x Not Mayor(what is their ship name I swear they have one-): they,,,,do their best. Syntax hates Valentine's Day whether he's alone or not, however the mayor is intent on changing that. They do a simple lunch date and then go hang out wherever is convenient for them, really it's nothing fancy per Syntax's request. But they do exchange some form of gifts, most likely chocolates for the mayor and a plant(either a succulent or a cactus) for Syntax. At the end of the day, they do love each other, even if they show it in different ways. X Reader - Gender Neutral! MK: super sweet, definitely tries to plan out the whole day to be perfect because obviously you deserve a good Valentine’s Day! He’s incredibly nervous the whole time and you’ll probably have to reassure him that you appreciate all the effort but he doesn’t have to worry so much about impressing you. He’s also pretty much attached to you the whole day but he’ll back off if you ask. Gets you flowers for sure! Redson: oh, you think MK’s stressed about planning? Redson is like 100x worse. He’s got a paper schedule or something and you will absolutely need to tell him you just want to enjoy some quality time with him, not having to hurry from place to place. The one thing he’s pretty insistent on is dressing up since it’s fun. Also nervous, but he learned romance stuff from his mom so he at least knows what he’s doing. Mei: she is the least stressed. She presents you with a few options on what the both of you could do to spend the day together, and from there you kinda wing it. One of the things I can see her doing is taking you out shopping for a bit, and then grabbing lunch or dinner at a higher end kind of place. Super chill. I think she’d get you a plush or even chocolates. Wukong: a little stressed but keeps it lighthearted. He has loose ideas, and if any of them strike your fancy, he’ll make it work. Has a plethora of shiny things to gift you with, and is very physically affectionate. With some help from Chang’e, they prepare a nice meal for the two of you to share. He likes just being around you, even if you two aren’t necessarily doing anything. Your presence is really calming for him. Macaque: theater kid mode ENGAGED. He invites you to a special shadow play that details how a warrior met and fell in love with a wonderful person who made him feel loved, more than he ever had before. Afterwards, he gives you your favorite flowers and takes you to a nice restaurant. You two go back to his dojo and spend the evening doing some form of self care, probably like face masks and painting nails(or claws, in his case). He’s romantic through and through and it pays off. Not Mayor: he’s been planning this for weeks. He had asked you in passing ages ago how you felt about big celebrations for Valentine’s Day, and he works in your comfort zone so he doesn’t under or overwhelm you. He makes you breakfast and gives you some flowers, before laying out a general game plan for the day. You two dress up a bit and go do some sightseeing around the city, just enjoying the spaces and the quality time. He is very calm on the outside, but on the inside he is panicking because he really wants you to enjoy your time with him. When you two get home he makes dinner and you two watch a movie while you eat. It’s really nice Nezha: Nervous boy is nervous! He is terrible at acting calm, so you’ll have to remind him to breathe every now and then as you two go out for the day. He takes you to some of his favorite spots—some of them being in the Celestial Realm—and you show him some of yours. There’s laughter, there’s affection, there’s really good food(he also got help from Chang’e), and he relaxes every time he sees you smiling and enjoying yourself. He’s also probably got some form of poem or writing that he made for you that most definitely did not take him hours to come up with, ignore all the crumpled papers in his trash can

I've been dragged back into LMK by the ankles and I can't get this idea outta my head:

what about Wukong, MK, Pigsy(platonic), and Mei(platonic) with an s/o/friend who has a pet Owlbear? Maybe they found it as an injured hatchling and raised it, so now it's super protective, but when not in protection mode, it's just like a Great Dane that thinks it's a lapdog!

More curious than anything else, like hey where exactly did this thing originate from

May or may not be the tiniest bit intimidated by it but he will not admit that

You'll probably have to gently help the two to connect. Show Wukong how to feed it, let it inspect him a little

Soon enough they'll get along just fine, Wukong is good with animals by nature so he'd get the hang of it pretty easy with your help!

He still thinks it's crazy that this big hulking creature follows you around being all scary...

but it also wants to somehow fit into your lap whenever you sit down as if it didn't just drag in a dead mouse as a gift

Wants to pet it, wants to take it for walks, literally is vibing so hard with this thing

"does it have a name??? Can I name it???"

Feels bad he's "stealing" you from the owlbear but you reassure him that the owlbear understands

Tries in vain to find chew toys for it that can last more than a day

Probably spoils it a little bit with attention even if it just knocked something over and you sprayed it with a spray bottle

Basically MK fully feeds into the dog energy it has even though it is EXPONENTIALLY larger than him

PIGSY(PLATONIC)

WHAT DO NOT BRING THAT THING INTO THE SHOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING

You'll need to gently explain that he doesn't need to worry, it's not evil or anything

He doesn't believe you lmao

It takes a little while for him to get used to your pet, and you can take it as a sign of generous trust when he allows you to bring it inside

He eventually starts saving meat scraps and bones for it

Refers to it mostly as "the lil fella" even though if it wanted to it could eat him

If anything he's impressed at how well it behaves

Mei(Platonic)

Can she please ride on its back. Please it's for science

Super excited, and like MK, she will warm up to it and treat it like a puppy instantly

It warms up to her too, and they get along great

She also probably finds a way to teach it tricks if you haven't already done that

Uses a baby voice with it too, you know how people have certain voices they use for their pets? She does that :)

10/10 she handles it better than the rest of the group on this list

The line-up makes sense, but I also think it’s be fun if MK was the self-aware one too, since they’re is an ending where Sayori becomes conscious.

Hmmm I can see it actually! I think the lineup of lads is neat! HOWEVER in all my glory I'd like to also offer up the ladies as well

Monika: LBD (obviously! And besides if anyone will hack ur shit it's her)

Sayori: Spider Queen (Sayori becomes self aware in the end, and Spider Queen is much more intelligent than people may think. She's a queen after all!)

Yuri: Scorpion Queen (it makes perfect sense in my head)

Natsuki: Mei (has the ability to come off as harsh but will get real if she thinks there's danger!)

Yeah the girl line-up makes more sense.

My mom: *sees me hard at work crafting and not talking to anyone just spacing out with my headphones in* wow I wonder what's got him so quiet?

Me: *thinking about tired MK. MK who has had enough of everything. MK who ever since the spider Queen has felt like a weapon, like if he stops training or doing ANYTHING then everything will fall apart. MK who has tried everything under the sun to feel better and cope but no one understands--not truly. Not enough that the burden of being the hero gets any lighter. Even working alongside Mei, his best friend in the whole world, he feels the need to be the leader, because as great as she is she doesn't have his powers. MK who, ever since the Lady Bone Demon, has a bittersweet relationship with the Monkey King, to the point where he can't look him in the eyes anymore because when he does it just hurts. MK who, as soon as he gets the perfect chance, goes to see macaque to see if MAYBE he has some advice, though deep down he's just worried he'll be tricked again.

Macaque is intrigued at the kid's sudden lack of energy and how everything about his energy just seems darker. Still, Macaque tells his true opinion to the kid when MK asks about the Monkey King. He's just Wukong, just a lazy immortal who only ever disregards others. And when the kid leaves with an odd sag in his shoulders he can't help but feel worried for him, even if he tries to deny actually caring about him.

MK who goes off on his own without telling anyone. MK who stops by Redson's house to ask if he knows any good demonic runes or something to make it so people can't find him. MK who disappears for a fairly long period of time and no one can get a hold of him because even though Redson thought it was a strange thing to ask for, he still complied because it was worse having to look at MK's oddly sad face.

MK who gets used to being alone. MK who never settles down, is always on the move in between different cities and towns, and he has no idea why but there's always some sort of half assed care package waiting for him by his bag in the morning, and along with it a poorly drawn doodle of him. On his birthday, there's a full note, signed by all his friends, even Macaque, not asking him why he left, but just asking him to come home safely.

MK, who, after a full year away from home, makes the trip back. He's happy to see that the city hasn't fallen apart without him, happy that he won't have to clean up a mess.

MK, who walks into Pigsy's and feels a lump in his throat when he smells his favorite recipe being cooked. Pigsy, who just about jumps over the counter to embrace his son, Tang joining in, and as if she could sense it, Mei appears too and causes the three of them to collapse onto the ground as she throws herself into them.

MK, breaking down into sobs without any words as he allows himself to be loved. The Monkey King, who goes to MK instead of the other way around, very patiently waiting his turn to speak to him because he knows this is a lot for anyone who missed the kid. Macaque showing up as well alongside Redson and both will still deny how much they care for him but they don't even try to mask their relief at seeing him safe and in one piece as he sits down to eat a proper meal.

MK, who goes to sleep that night in his childhood bedroom at Pigsy's place instead of his apartment because they both need the reassurance that the other is there.

MK, who feels refreshed after finally getting a break from everything.
