Lorelian - Tumblr Posts

Hello~ Lorelian here. You can call me Lore, Lian, or Lorelian. It's taken me close to ten years to finally make an account on tumblr, on account of my being shy and private, and indecisive as to whether I'd want an account content-specific or all-encompassing. Have I made a decision, now that I finally have an account?

Might focus on danmei, or books in general, or throw in a few crafts here and there.

Interests are many and varied, including but not limited to: reading, writing, cross stitch, crochet, sketching, music, the occasional anime and dramas, languages, and more that have yet to come to mind.

A belated Christmas gift, the beautiful limited edition box set of Golden Terrace by Cang Wu Bin Bai! I adore the simplistic elegance of the covers, and the inclusions are very pretty as well!

I know very little about the series, but from what acquaintances have told me about it, I am very excited to begin it!

Time to start reading! (ง •̀_•́)ง‼

Just finished reading The Hobbit for the first time. It was my first experience of Tolkien's writing, and I truly loved it so much. The style of writing is so different from the style of current fantasy books, and the whimsy and light-heartedness of it has left me with a very nice, cozy feeling.

There's also a bit of melancholy at having finished it, having gotten to the end of a long journey, but that's a typical experience for me whenever I finish a piece of media I truly enjoyed. Going to sit on this feeling for a little bit, though. It's not an altogether bad feeling.
