Now that all characters got their first season, I want to write a little review for each of them
Nora Le Fay
Nora is absolutely perfectly my type, she's smart, curious and a real sweetheart. I extremely enjoyed her route, the mystery is intriguing, but the LI is definitely the main attraction. Her chemistry with the MC feels real and pushes the story forwards. I especially loved the little moments where the MC introduced modern things to her and the interactions with the rest of the group.
Lucas Charming
Lucas positively surprised me. I never thought Lovestruck would introduce a make MC, but when I first saw the LI I thought he was too stereotyped. His story definitely proved me wrong, he his charming (who would have thought with that name? XD) but also heroic and deals with his own demons. The MC is delightfully awkward, but not useless and his struggle to believe someone like Lucas would like him is relatable. His story is more straightforward and less shrouded in mystery, but still exciting and I can't wait to see how it goes on
Ezra Wolf
Another character that extremely surprised me. I am not a big fan of the bad boy character, but Ezra constantly reversed the stereotypes. He may be dangerous, but he is also sweet, protective and considerate and doesn't push the MC around like certain other LIs with this trope. Also his story is probably the most interesting so far, there are a lot of secrets and not everything is as it first seems. Can't wait to find out more about his real past.
Overall
This is probably the strongest debut for a new series in a while. The art is gorgeous, the music beautiful, all of the characters, including the side ones, are interesting and well written. Even if the setting seems unoriginal they gratefully avoid stereotypes and make it unique and intriguing. I'm absolutely in love with all of the LIs already and can't wait for the second season!
