I know the acotar fandom is torn between elucien vs elriel, but lucien x azriel would make so much sense. Both of them has been mistreated and traumatized by their older siblings and rejected by their biological family, so they would understand what they've been through better than anyone else.

Not to mention their aesthetic: azriel, who is always surrounded by shadows and darkness, and lucien, the heir of the day court (who I expect will manifest light powers soon). They balance each other out.

Oh and then there's the fire thing. Azriel got his hands burnt by his brothers, which would probably make him scared or at least wary of fire (and anyone who wields it, aka Lucien). And he also hates Eris and basically the whole Autumn Court for what they did to Mor, so it would be understandable if he didn't like Lucien at the beginning. That is, until Lucien proves him wrong and shows him he is not like the rest of his family. I mean, imagine the angst, the drama, this ship could deliver.

Two guys who have been denied love, one with a not reciprocated, centuries old crush, the other with a murdered lover and a mate that doesn't want anything to do with him, finally finding in each other the belonging and loving they seek and deserve. They'd be so caring and kind, I just can't-

It would be amazing. I'm just surprised there are so few people who ship them. I need more content, fellas :(

ok, I’m going to say it. I ship Luzriel. I think they would understand each other really well, and would have a very sweet, caring relationship. They’d works really well together and I think they’d definitely help one another, they’d absolutely be protective and I just think they’re in love. The mating bond between Lucien and Elain is platonic and my opinion and I think they would end up as really great friends and I think she’s support their relationship and be an awesome wingwoman. Ok, continue with your day, that is all.
