This is just a warm up doodle but...

I really like the idea of Twilight just passing down her mommy issues from Celestia on to Opaline and it actually fucking up tremendously, because realistically speaking all of that responsibility that Celestia forced onto her really didn't help her be better at friendship it just made her a more “efficient” ruler.

And after all of her friends eventually died I have a feeling Twilight would regress back into who she used to be back in season 1 and just sort of shut down any and all help, instead giving herself all the work. Pretty much I think she would just become Celestia 2.0 because she was set up to end up like that. 

It would be a Celestia and Sunset Shimer “fuck you, your not my mom” all over agian. With Opaline not understanding why friendship is important and Twilight not being able to give her the same speech she gave Luster Dawn. 

She would come off as a hypocrite

Personally I don't think Twilight would ever be able to make such deep connections with anyone else after all of her friends are gone.

Through The Season's Twilight became JUST “Princess Twilight” due to bad writing but I think this could play into her becoming not an antagonist but more of a cataclyst for the villian to come.

I'll have a more detailed timeline of my Hc once it's all fully written down but just having the concept out of my brain will help me shape it into something more coherent.
