I don't know if this is a me experience or if happens to other people too but ever since I watched shameless every other show I watch is immediately and relentlessly compared to it. For example, the new season of maestro in blue just came out and it has a very angsty gay couple and I find myself completely unfazed by their story because I'm like: "AHA. I see what you did there. CLASSIC late season 3 - early season 4 Gallavich. And they thought I wouldn't notice 🙄🙄🙄". Or I reference episodes, like it had a scene where one of them broke a chair and threatened someone with the chairleg and I was like "Season 10 episode 11 reference RAHH"
