Kay but what if when Odysseus sees Poleteis (or however the Hades you spell that man's name) he's in the Elysium fields where shades just sort of, stand. Forever. Lifeless and devoid of emotion and a sense of self and everything that made his brother who he is.

Just, Odysseus realizing that even in death his best friend is gone.
