Spinner VS Mandalay rematch

Mandalay uses her telepathy quirk to fake-flirt with Spinner and catch him off-guard again.

Spinner remembers the last time she did this, especially how sucky it was because that was the first time he got a compliment and it was just a dirty trick.

But this time Spinner is able to counter Mandalay’s move with an (at the time) unknown tidbit of information.

Mandalay, telepathically: “You still look as handsome as the last time I saw you.”

Spinner, out loud: “Back off bitch, I have a boyfriend!”

Mandalay is, of course, confused as all hell, which allows Spinner to gain the advantage.

Shigaraki is in the area and heard Spinner yelling, so he yells back to make sure Spinner’s okay.

Spinner, matter-of-factly: “I’m good. She just used her quirk to flirt with me-”

Shigaraki, looking ready to commit homicide even more than usual: “HANDS OFF MY BOYFRIEND YOU THOT!!!”

Shigaraki intentionally raises hell as he’s running over to Spinner for the sole purpose of terrorizing the shit out of Mandalay, which works because she panics and bolts.

In the end, Shigaraki and Spinner win the fight, and the word gets out that the two are a couple to everyone’s shock (though that happens only after Mandalay finally processes it).
